• [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 520px]The incessant jingling of a kittypet bell disturbed Ivy's sleep, and she lifted her head from her paws, scowling. She'd just woken up and already it seemed as if her day was ruined. The blue-furred trainee slowly got to her paws, stretching out her limbs, and pursued the noise. Malecousa was relatively easy to find. Her snow white pelt stuck out like a sore thumb in BloodClan territory, and Ivy slipped out of the shadows to stand in front of her. The she-cat's green eyes glittered with distaste. "What are you doing here, kittypet?" Ivy challenged, looking the feline over.

Minos barely remembered the time he hated being under the influence of the substance. Catnip had lead to many enjoyable nights and relief from the stress of life. It was safe to say he was addicted at this point in time. That wasn't going to change unless he swore off Bloodclan's most popular herb. And why would he do that?

A faint jingling sound jogged the maine coon mix's numb sences. At first, he wondered if he was experiencing some type of hallucination, but the sound was too real to be made up by his mind. Minos got up from his lazy position, sprawled out on the ground, to investigate the noise. It wasn't too long before he slipped around the corner of the twoleg garden and came face-to-face with a sentient ball of fluff! Er... A pure white feline.

In his stupor, Minos had mistaken the fine maiden before him for a bundle of cotton. The confusion was evident in his sculpted features, but quickly faded as infatuation took over. The snow white dame was gorgeous, and no cat could deny her pelt was soft as a baby bird's down feathers. The only thing wrong with the scene was Ivy's blatant hostility toward this tantalizing specimen.

"She's being an easy sight on my tired eyes." Minos murmured as he sholdered his way past Ivy and gave the kittypet a seductive grin. "What brings a fine maiden like yourself to this catnip garden?" the golden tom's molten gaze traveled down the feline's length as he drank in her sight.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:420px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5] the snowy feline was surprised at the sudden voice of the two cats, switching her views between the hostile she-cat and the clearly ... tom. she took a step back, trying to angle herself so she wouldn't have to take her eyes off either of the two cats. malecousa's bell jingled each time she swung her head, clearly annoying the aggravated she-cat. "i'm not a kittypet. not anymore, at least." her words were flimssy; she was frightened and a little bit intimidated by her. "i did not come to make a blatant fool of myself, like some others..." she spoke more confidently this time, angling her words to the tom. she needed to get out of this hostile situation, so, like the smart cat she is, she decided to turn her attention back towards them. ""besides, what are you two doing here? shouldn't anyone be able to enjoy the catnip and roam the city freely? hmm??"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; color=white; font-family: trebuchet ms; width: 350px;]oh gosh, that jingling alerted everyone within a one block radius. dee flattened his silky black ears against his head, icy eyes narrowed, lips pressed together in annoyance. if this was another one of those cats looking to join, he'd tear the cat's collar off himself. no way was he allowing one of those noise-makers into the clan.

dee stalked down the alley, eventually arriving at the little trio that had formed. minos and ivy, and one cat he didn't recognize. he looked her up and down with a calculated gaze. "once a kittypet, always a kittypet." the tom responded coldly, and padded up to take a seat beside ivy. "and actually, they can't, considering it's our city, no one wanders around here without our say."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; color:; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px;]"So the question is: what are you doing here?" his voice was deep and nonchalant as he swooped forward, landing on all fours from his former position on the roof of the warehouse. At first glance, Nathaniel looked like quite the beast; uncharacteristically tall and muscled, with scars dotting his large figure and biting at his ears like they had been victims of a flesh-eating moth. He was dark furred and tabby colored, so his two yellow eyes, narrowed and somewhat irritated, brilliantly contrasted with his eerie figure. "If it's our city, you're a trespasser, and most obviously still a kittypet, what's stopping us from tearing you up? Hmm?" he mimicked her tone, his voice raising a fraction, his head cocking tauntingly.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:420px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5] these people were tough; clearly no form of intellectual speak would get through to them. although she didn’t realize it at first, it was blatantly evident that to get them off her back, malecousa would have to use her limited fighting experience over her words. the snowy she-cat shifted her stance, periodically sheathing and unsheathing her claws, clearly stressed by the situation. frustration rolled over her face, prompting her to spit out rather wimpy words to the now forming group. “you do know i could go get my owners. the-they’ll get you put down… and, um, and—” she paused after seeing the clear mockery that appeared on their faces. “you know what? no. i'm not going to run back to my damn humans. i go wandering out one day and you, you fiends come and assault me! all in the name of this being ‘your’ city. you know what, that pisses me off!!” with a gleam in her eyes, malecousa brought a paw up to her neck, ripping the bell from her bright pink collar and throwing it to the ground, mashing it with one strong pound of her paw. she stared each cat in the eyes, proving she wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; color=white; font-family: trebuchet ms; width: 350px;]dee prayed silently that this she-cat wouldn't ask to join. even if she did though, he doubted she'd last more than a few days. she was pathetic. seriously, threatening to bring her twolegs here? the whole thing was ridiculous! the tom looked on with obvious distaste, wrinkling his nose.

"if you want any sort of chance to live here, i suggest you never mention your twolegs again." he said sharply, icy eyes glinting as he watched her. at least she had done one thing right, getting rid of her bell. "no one's gonna look out for you here, got that?"

I was so close to getting her. He sighed and watched their exchange with clear disinterest. The she-cat turned out to be more of the whiny type, but that could have been brought out by his clanmate's sharp tongues.

He wondered if he could get her alone and use his honey-coated words with her, if she would speak a different tune. Almost any feline could change their mind when the right words were spoken. If this she-cat stuck around, Minos would be sure to speak to her again. She had some pretty desirable traits such as beauty and strength. Not that the three other felines present didn't also have those characteristics. Just to humor his curiosity, Minos decided to stay and watch the outcome of this meeting.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:420px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5] a sigh of relief escaped malecousa's lips as dee spoke. sure, he was clearly intolerant of her and was very eager to leave, but his last sentence proved he wasn’t totally against the she-cat. That was good. For malecousa, she was here for new beginnings, and having someone out to get you from the start isn’t a good thing. With a smile, malecousa turned back to the cat still watching her ordeal. The sudden realization that her actions had been quite unnatural and odd, she bowed her head and spoke a few apologetic words. ”I’m very sorry for my actions a few moments ago. That isn’t me, but I was indeed feeling threatened, and I stopped thinking. Please edit your image of me, for what you just saw wasn’t true..”. she rocked back onto her haunches, licking a now dirty paw. Without missing a beat, the snowy feline spoke once more, ”if it true what he said? That nobody takes care of each other here? I try to think how that’s hard to believe, but after interacting with that tom, I'm not quite sure if I know what I got myself into by leaving.”
