In truth, it didn't really strike the Historian as odd that two three-month-old cubs had found themselves on LithiumClan's border. They'd probably come from relatively close by, and hadn't traveled far- but even if they had come a long way, kids were becoming more and more capable at younger and younger ages as time went on. Some were possessed by much older spirits, others were born lucky, and still others were forced to step up if they wanted to survive.

Still, even if these two were capable and/or lucky enough to reach their borders without being snatched by rogues, it was clear that they still had some sort of innocence about them. They would probably be broken sooner rather than later, the small feline reflected bitterly as she approached them, but the clan probably needed a few optimists. Even if no amount of joiners could have enough good luck to balance out the misfortune she seemed to attract just by existing, the cubs could at least help to keep the clan going despite that.

Forcing the sudden storm of pessimistic thoughts aside, the Historian eyed the two newcomers for a moment, noting that they seemed to be twins. Finally, she cleared her throat and responded, "Yes, there are people here. What are your names?"
