  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;]WARNING: Goldenlight is an awful cat. He's spiteful, rudely honest, strict with the code and StarClan, absolutely hates outsider [loners, kittypets, other clans], stubborn as a donkey, loves to argue and instigate things, etc. So please don't post here if you think your cats can't handle a bit to tough love.

But despite his overwhelming flaws he would die for his clan and clanmates. So... that's like one good thing about him. So lets make him some enemies. Open to friends too... be persistent and good luck?

Oh, and by mega thread I mean: lets see how long we can make this thread go. 100 pages? 1000? Buhahahaha! >:D

Many moons had passed. Many faces had come and gone. But the trees were the same, great pines sheltering the needle coated floor below. The grass that shrived and crunched under his paws. The cool winds carried the heavy smell of rain, he knew, but the thrush that was clamped loosely in his jaws was to overpowering to make out anything else. Not even the jumble of scents that made up ShadowClans unique smell made it past the fresh-kill.

But the black tom knew where he was. Had spent the past thirty-six moons walking these paths. Learning each dip and hidden crevice. He could have been blind and still have known where to slipped past the thorns to wiggle his way into camp, not a scratch to show for his entrance.

His stride was long and confident, carrying him past faces he recognized and acknowledged, and others he rudely ignored.

Letting the last of his days catches to drop onto the pile he huffed. The action causing wide puff of frosty air to form around his muzzle. Seeming to swirl around the single, golden stripe of fur blazing up his nose and between his bright mossy eyes.[/fancypost]

  • [size=9pt]//tracking because I can't be bothered whilst I'm on mobile, but this should be interesting - him and thornfang sound very similar![/size]

  • [size=9pt]//goldenlight, thornfang and snakehiss are actually really similar lol

Thornfang smiled briefly at Goldenlight's catch. He actually quite liked the feline, for he seemed to have very similar beliefs to the elderly ShadowClanner. A cat like Goldenlight - there was no time better than the present to make an approach. So the old tom made his way over, meowing, "Hello, Goldenlight. Nice catch."[/size]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;]The senior warrior turned his head to view the ShadowClan leader, without expression. What with the situation being so complex it was hard to know what to feel towards the elder. Goldenlight not been there when Sparrowstar had gathered the clan for the last time. Had not witnessed her clash with Thornfang until it claimed one of her lives.

    But not all of them.

So what did that really make Thornstar? Their leader, of course. And Goldenlight was a cat to bound to the code to rise up against his leader.

"I know," he arrogantly responded. "Good as they can be during leaf-bare." The ebony warrior knew it was no point striking out again, he'd spent half the day catching his four measly catches. A border patrol was the next best thing, and perhaps eventually he would be given an apprentice to train. There were so many here. The thought made him cringe.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify][size=8]Winterpaws leg had managed to heal enough for her to walk with not too much pain, she mostly just hobbled everywhere, trying her best to get her strength back. Making her slow, shaky way towards the fresh kill pile, the young she-cat noticed Goldenlight and gave him a friendly smile. "Hello Goldenlight! How are you?" She asked politely, hoping maybe she'd get a friendly response in return. She respected the older cat completely so was very determined to look past his prickly exterior and maybe learn a thing or two about him.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;]The ebony tom turned stiffly around to face the apprentice, eyeing her with cool disinterest. Apprentices. Nothing but annoying kits who fumbled about doing nothing but making mistakes. Blah.

Furthermore she seemed taken with Snakehiss, a tom Goldenlight didn't care for at all. The senior warrior could hold that against her too. A spiteful thing to do. He gave a grunt in answer to her greeting before shifting his gaze back to Thornstar. Perhaps if she was ignored she would go away, it seemed to work well with everyone else.

    // Rushed, sorry. D:[/fancypost]

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: none; width: 450px; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify;]Snakehiss glanced at the scene with a frown. While Goldenlight and Thornfang were conversing, the former had hardly acknowledged Winterpaw at all. What had she done to him? Nothing! He flexed his claws, wanting to tear his ears off, but he restrained himself.

The tom exhaled and stepped near Winterpaw, giving a slight glare to Goldenlight before muttering, "Someone spit in his fresh-kill this morning." He muttered before shrugging, "Actually, he's normally like that." They were both quite similar, Goldenlight and Snakehiss. Goldenlight was actually more similar to his apprentice-self, which sounded quite embarrassing. Snakehiss was still pretty feisty, but he seemed to have learned self-restraint... at least for a little while, anyways.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;]Ah. Snakehiss.

Golden didn't like him any more then Winterpaw, although the reasons were different as night and day. Mossy eyes landed on the other tom and he wrinkled his nose in disgust, the golden streak of fur bright against his inky pelt. He couldn't hear what they were talking about, but he'd seen the other warrior glare in his direction.

Good to know his feelings for the tom were being returned. "Have something on your mind, Snakehiss?"[/fancypost]
