Real funny you guys.
Putting the blind cat in charge of star gazing. This had been LittleNewts first thought when he'd been given the task. But who was he to argue? Still, It sucked. Organizing something he could hardly enjoy. For trust him. Even as hard as he tried to look- Nothing would happen. He'd see nothing. Though his face would probable look very funny all scrunched up! But.. Getting upset over it would do nothing. LittleNewt would make this the best stargazing session he could! Carefully he had cleared out a small area to sit. But during such a thing, He'd remembered. Starclan. So what better thing to do when enjoying staring at the stars then to remember those that had been lost. LittleNewt couldn't enjoy this threw sight. So he might as well figure out a way he'd atleast be able to hear it.

Eventually the tom had settled down in the center of his clearing. The blind cat wasn't sure if any one would actually show up. Swallowing. He carefully chose to speak up. "I've been given the task of organizing star gazing, So I figured it would be nice if while we look. We shared stories of those who have joined the stars. Not in a sad way- I'm sure we all have good memories of those we've lost. Things that always make us smile when we think back on? So let us tell such while we look up at them." And with that, The blind tom stepped a little out of the clearing. Slowly settling down in a laying postion.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; font: 8pt Georgia]

L I L Y F A N G -- As soon as she heard stargazing, Lilyfang was there. Although Butterflysong may have been more experienced with herbs, there was something that she would never even come close to Lilyfang. That was her spiritual life.

"Oh, I just love stargazing," the mainly white medicine cat meowed, sitting down next to Littlenewt. "It makes me feel closer to StarClan than I thought was even possible." She turned her blue gaze to Silverpelt and closed her eyes for a brief moment. Lilyfang felt a soft breeze tug at her fur and when she opened her eyes, she saw StarClan sitting around her.

It was beautiful. Littlenewt was blind, but if he could see, he would not be able to see the spirit of StarClan. No cat would except for her and maybe Sandmask. Lilyfang embraced their warm scents for a moment before they disappeared. Butterflysong was wrong about me. Even StarClan thinks so.

Instead of anger and frustration towards the warrior, Lilyfang developed pity for her. This was her dream, and we stole it. No wonder she's so determined to make our lives miserable.

"A story? Oh, where do I start? We've lost so many we love..." That was when an idea came to her. "Did you know Daisystar?"

  • Stargazing. Thornfang made a decision - despite everything StarClan apparently thought of him, the old cat would partake. He sat a distance away from Littlenewt and Lilyfang, wrinkling his nose slightly at them. The dark brown feline looked up at the stars. He had done this many times before, often with tears trickling down his cheeks as he tried to console himself, tell himself he was doing the right thing.

But was he really? There was no way Thornfang would bow now, not until he was defeated. But had ShadowClan really improved thanks to his leadership? Nobody was in the best mood due to Raggedface's exile, and there were many cats still against him. Deep down, the elderly cat wanted... a friend. That would make him weaken though.

As he looked up at the stars, they actually seemed further away than ever to him. Instinctively, he reached out a large paw as if trying to hold them, bring them closer, but the stars slipped through his clutch, and looking at his paw, he realised his long claws were unsheathed, as though he had been ready to fight. Ready to fight? Thornfang knew that he was weakening all the time. It was bad, really. He would never save ShadowClan. There was no hope. But he would keep on trying.

Thornfang was tempted to speak up, to tell a story of his own, but for some reason, stars out of his reach, he couldn't find the words to say anything. Also his roleplayer couldn't be bothered to think of anything for him to say. Instead, there was only one thought in the feline's mind.

    If only StarClan wanted him.

Softkit pads out into the clearing from the nursery, her eyes wide with wonder. She's never seen silverpelt this clearly, being as small and young as she is. She hasn't even met all of her clan yet, and she certainly doesn't have many friends. With a small huff, she sets herself on remedying that. Scanning the forming crowd, her gaze settles on Thornfang. He looks lonely, she notes. Without really thinking it through, she makes up her mind and bounds over to him, smiling. "Hiya! My name's Softkit, what's yours?" She has no idea what's happened recently, nor what may come. She only knows that this looks like a lonely cat; and no cat should be left alone.

  • Approached. Oh, great. Thornfang turned around to see a kit he barely recognised. Softkit, was it? He hadn't gotten to know her yet. "Greetings, Softkit. I'm Thornfang - haven't you heard of me?"The dark furred feline found it hard to believe that she hadn't with all that had gone on. And most cats didn't really like Thornfang right now. He had literally taken a life from the leader, exiled her, and taken over the Clan.

Softkit shakes her head, blissfully ignorant. "Nope! It's nice to meet you Thornfang!" She purrs and sits beside him, maybe a little close having only just met him. She sees a friend in him already, unaware of any discomfort the tom might have.

  • The old tom narrowed his eyes, and moved away from Softkit - but only very, very slightly. He didn't really mind, but he didn't know her yet, and apparently, she somehow didn't know the dark tom, either. "I'm going to assume you haven't really been listening to anyone recently, with all that's going on."He focused on the stars again, but they weren't doing anything different apart from running from him, hiding from him. So he turned back to the kit, wondering what her opinion was on StarClan, but not wanting to ask. It might end in a fight, making the elderly feline's reputation even worse.

  • Bella joined the stargazing. StarClan—she just couldn't believe in them. How could there possibly be dead cats living in the sky? It wasn't possible. But, she kept her mouth shut, gazing up at the stars with interested amber eyes, admiring their beauty, not seeing them as dead warriors. She noticed Thornfang and a cute little kit. She smiled a tiny bit at the pair, then turned her gaze back to the stars.
