• The slender pure white tom swiftly padded down the hill hearing Dusk her flicked an ear. "I love the winter. Though my thin fur doesn't help keep my warm much it's easier to stalk for prey or be stealthy." He meowed blinking his energetic blue eyes.

Cloud in the other has slipped half away down the hill the other half was stumbling. His thin tail lashed watching his brother. How come he got down so easily? We have the same body structure! He thought angrily though he knew his brother was tall, agile, and more muscular in his legs... while he was slender, fragile looking, and a bit clumsy.. His baby blue eyes darkened at the thought of snow and the chilly air stabbing him. "The snow or horrible.. my stupid brown markings don't help me hide in snow, and when there isn't snow my dumb white fur gives me away." He grumbled darkly and Wind glanced at him his eyes showing slight concern. "Cloud you usually like sn" he was cut off. "I changed my mind. Snow is evil. It's cold, freezes prey, and it sticks to my paws." He mumbled. "Oh.." Wind mumbled not sure what to say..

  • (let's say, for the sake of training, that clan cats and tribe cats use the same fighting moves.)

Wolf stopped himself and Dahlia in a small clearing and turned to look at her. "Since we're almost finished with your training, let's just go through whatever you know." He flicked his tail and looked at the to-be, "give it your best shot."

  • Puddle's next victim was another mouse, one that she'd nearly lost as it scurried for a shallow burrow that it hadn't finished digging. The she-cat scrambled after it hurriedly, reaching into the burrow after it with claws extended. She fished it out with expert skill. After a small scuffle with the slippery mouse, she finally sunk her teeth into it. She flicked her tail in annoyance and returned back to the pile with the previous mouse. She hoped that she could at least bring three mice back to her tribe by the time she returned.

With her ears perked up, she stalked out of the field, convinced that she wouldn't find much prey left there. Puddle was certain that she'd alerted them of her presence by that point. The she-cat's fur bristled as her mind wandered back to her mother, who was lucky enough to be her mentor. Puddle recalled her mother teaching her to hunt as she did now, and a pang of sadness rang through her. She stopped in her tracks, sitting down and curling her tail over her paws. Perhaps the view could conquer her sudden gloominess.

  • Wolf was impressed by Dahlia's blows and dodges. It took him a lot of time before he got in a hit, even then it was a bit scratchy. He barely yanked on the she-cat's tail when she turned and dodge him again. He chuckled and continued.

Dusk giggled, "don't be so angry, Cloud. There are always ways to be more stealthy. You will learn." She flicked her tail and smiled, seeing she would enjoy the trip. "I want you two to remember that trying to fight any of the clan cats is not permitted. If you do, I will make you wait past your age of becoming a prey hunter or Cave guard." [/fancypost]

The cat had been hunting all morning and was glad to finally have time to sit by himself in peace.

Dahlia began to get worn out, slowing in her pace. "Can we go back to the camp now?" She asked suddenly, taking deep labored breaths.[/fancypost]

  • "Don't worry Dusk. I respect the clan cats and I except them to respect us.. I don't think we'll have anything to fight about." Wind meowed and Cloud rolled his eyes. "I don't trust them.. they always want us to fight their battles.." The young cat meowed softly.

Dusk agreed with both of the cats but kept silent, noticing a strange pattern between the two cats. It seemed as though they could share resemblance but act nothing alike. "Poppystar is a kind cat, she would never allow anything of the sort to happen to us. I can say that she is very accepted. Elmstar, on the other hand, is a bit unorthodox but he is respectable."

  • Wolf nodded at Dahlia. "Hold on," he spoke up as she began padding away. "I wanted to tell you that I'm very impressed by what you have shown me today." He smiled at her. "Now, let's go back to camp. I want to get a drink." As they padded at the side of the mountain he looked down at the camp grounds and cocked his gray head. He wondered what was going on down there.

Little did he know, everything was about to change.

  • Breeze padded over to Wolf, whom she had been waiting to return. "Hey, how did the training go?" She asked with a small smile, trying not to be embarrassed.

  • The mountainside held truly a magnificent view before it. Breathtaking as always, Puddle mentally remarked. She loved the view of the meadow just before the forest from where she sat, with its endless rows of trees and their leafy tops brushing in the wind. She let out a small purr at the sight, before shaking her head. The forest was magnificent, but it wasn't a life for her. She was bound to her tribe through and through, and while for a moment she'd wondered what it would be like, she rejected the thought of anything but her tribe.

The she-cat padded onward as stony surface beneath her poked uncomfortably beneath her pawpads. She came to an area in the mountainside where mice often made their dens in softer soil and lowered her head. The scent of a mouse was fresh. Puddle padded forward gently, knowing that any swift movement could drive the small creature away. Her eyes caught visage of the den - and she observed it was not in any way a shallow one. This den had been made maybe a moon before, and it likely had the escape route many mouse dens had. Puddle flicked her tail uncomfortably as she recalled the steps for hunting mice in their dens.

Wolf nodded at Breeze, "it was pretty good, how was your morning?" Breeze smiled at the tom, "it was good."
ooc: Breeze will never actually be with Wolf btw its just a crush.

  • Wolf stood up and padded away. He would never feel as strongly for Breeze as she him. He padded away and Breeze turned her silvery green eyes to squirrel, "hey."

  • The she-cat felt her heart thump at the sound of Dahlia's voice. Puddle looked over her shoulder at the black she-cat approaching her, her attention dissipating from the mouse hidden within the den a few fox-lengths in front of her. She forgot of it momentarily, smiling at the other she-cat. "Hunting." Puddle replied, her voice dropping to a whisper as she thought of the mouse again. "What brings you out here?"

  • Snow peered around shaking out he long creamy white pelt. She blinked her eyes and stretched thinking of her sons and what could be going on.. (open for interaction low muse)
