The poor kid was having a break down at the border crying. He just came here because a lot of the people in SkyClan scared him. Keep in mind they were actually all nice people, but Ren was timid as hell. Whenever someone rose their voice, the feline would cower in fear. I wanna play baseball, b-but. They're going to attack me! At this point he was a crying mess, snifling, and his mouth was dribbling. Not a pretty sight. He had brought his metal bat with him and a baseball, hoping someone would pitch to him.

Oh dear. Was this stranger standing at the border crying? What was a matter? The medic cautiously approached, trying to look the poor sniveling apprentice over to make sure he wasn't hurt physically. "O-- Oh. Uh... Is everything alright sir?" she asks worriedly. The more formal "name and business" uniform greeting didn't quite feel appropriate in this situation.

The feline jumped in the shooting up into the sky, fur bristling, hat flying off his head. "GUYAA!" The feline yelled as he jumped. When Ren made it back to the ground, he landed flat on his face, with an audible smack. Slowly he rose to his paws, his red crying face could be seen. Nose bleeding slightly from the fall. "Y-ye-yes." The feline squeaked.

Well this was sure something. He seemed extremely paranoid, and she didn't understand what was causing him to feel this way, but now he was bleeding so she supposed none of that was really a concern right now. "Did-- Did you just break your nose??" she asked stunned. She quickly stepped forward to help him out. "It's going to be okay sir, I'm a medic. I'll make sure you're okay. Can I see your nose real quick? I'll... I'll clean up the blood. It doesn't hurt , does it?" she was doing an awful good job of keeping herself calm despite being worried herself since he flat out fell on his face just now.

well this was certainly a scene. redpaw looked slightly shocked, though not entirely unsympathetic. the stranger looked no older than herself, though they were vastly different in terms of temperaments. [color=#e7b4b6]"we're not going to eat you," the fem would snort as she came over. [color=#e7b4b6]"just calm down. who are you, anyways?" redpaw added, almost as an afterthought. she didn't mean to sound rude or anything, though her usually brusque manner of speaking could certainly come off that way. hopefully the kid wouldn't freak out even more, but she couldn't help it if he did.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]W-What? B-B-Blood?! The lad brought his paw to his nose, feeling the liquid. Yep, he was bleeding. "N-no? Well I don't think so? Maybe? Ahh, what am I going to tell mom!?" The boy burst into another fit of tears, honestly this kid was a crybaby. I just wanted to practice my batting skills. His ears perked at medic. The feline rushed to her side with a goofy face and tears streaming down his face. "R-really!? You'll help me?" Then another voice could be heard. Fur rose, clearly startled. It was like the lad was frozen in fear, which he was. Honestly, Ren was very easy to frighten and it didn't help he was timid. "Mihashi Ren Fujioka, apprentice of Skyclan." For once he was able to say a sentence without stuttering. "People just call me Ren."

Skyclan? Admittedly, Holydove knew absolutely nothing about said clan, and couldn't recall she had ever heard it talked about it all that often either. It only made her more curious. "It's very nice to meet you, Ren. What's brought you here? Are you here to visit or join? Is everything alright in Skyclan?" the medic asked curiously as she began to clean up the blood from under his nose.

"Umm, I wanted someone to throw me some baseballs, so I can hit them.." The apprentice sheepishly responded, holding the metal bat. "N-no. I'm just here to visit, I don't know about joining yet." They responded nervously, evident from their fidgeting. It was strange to have someone cleaning his nose, but he supposed it was normal for a medic. "SkyClan is fine, but things are moving slow. I just arrived their to meet my mother, so I don't know that much."

So this was someone who had gone to a group in search of family as well? She wasn't exactly sure wanting someone to throw balls for him was a really valid reason to go to another Clan, but she supposed she could cut him some slack. Poor kid was already terrified out of his mind, after all. "You're a fan of baseball, then?" she questioned. She wasn't too familiar with sports, but she got the general gist of them.

Although I'm not any good at it.." At bating, if we were being honest, he sucked. Pitching Ren showed tremendous talent. However, being degraded about his skill and bullied caused him to think otherwise. The feline swore never to pitch again, unless drastic measures had risen. Although he did practice pitching in secret. "H-how's WindClan?"
