Irin wasn't sure where she was. She'd gone out on a walk again and had gotten herself horribly lost. Everywhere she turned looked like the same bit of forest, walking away from landmarks only to come across them again. She'd been going around in a circle this whole time. Sighing and plopping down at the lake-side, she glanced around at the now some-what familiar patch of trees, frowning. The sun had begun to set now, casting stretching shadows over the ground. The sky turned an orange color, streaked with purple, clouds rolling past overhead. The tree branches suddenly looked like stretching claws, every rustle of leaves or gust of wind putting her on edge.

She knew she couldn't stay here, she needed to at least try to find her way back. Staying out in the dark wasn't a very appealing idea, even though her fear made her feel like a tiny kit. She hated the dark, even if the moon and stars would be shimmering overhead, the foliage would block out most of the light. She turned in a random direction and carefully stepped forward, nearly tripping into a thicket bush. The female freaked out at the branches treading over her pelt, mistaking them for something grabbing at her, squeaking at the touch and fumbling to get away.

She ended up getting tangled in the bush, beginning panic as she struggled to get away, twisting her body and getting leaves stuck in her fur.
