It wasn't too bad, as it wasn't like he was in the snowy biome god knows where or anything. Nah, just your average temperature in a colorful town that seemed rather quiet today. Alfred guessed either the snows and incoming frost frightened people indoors, or maybe they just weren't feeling the group of drunks.

Was Alfred in said group? Well, he'd come to hang with them because they were f#cking fun to hang with, minues one or two guys who got way out of line when any decently attractive woman walked by. They usually got their lights punched out and their bodies left there. Although there was one time one of these dudes just decked his ass because he was a bit low on food and sleep. But he was gonna make sure that didn't happen again.

Despite it being cold for most, Alfred was for some ungodly reason always warm. Even in the dead of winter he'd be able to survive in less layers than the average person. Why, he didn't know. Not to mention he was used to the cold from where he had grown up, which only helped his tolerance to the weather that much more. He really only disliked it for a few personal reasons based along morbid memories. You know, sh!t like that.

Well, what had the gang planned for today? Roll around in the frosty mud of course! Well, most of it was manly giggling and just handfuls of mud being tossed like snowballs. It was...interesting. It was fun, at least, but nothing short of drunken fun.

Alfred, one the other hand, was one of about three not drunk off his ass, and of course found himself feeling a little gross covered in icy mud and sh!t. Besides, if the ice crystals were big enough, those sh!ts could give you a bit of a scrape.

He decided he needed to go do something else after most of them passed out not long after, and he found himself just wandering around. He have about 15 minutes before yanking his shirt over his head, tying the muddy fabric around his waist. He could wash it when he got home.

also SORRY FOR THE LAME REPLY I'M PLAYING POKEMON MOON AND I'M AT A REALLY INTENSE PART LMAO

When she was small, she told herself she'd never swear. Years passed, and alone and angry, she tested the words on her tongue when no one was around to hear. She told herself she wouldn't, and yet she did. They felt so coarse that she had decided to backtrack and begin with the word 'crap.'
And you know what was crappy at this very moment? The way the weather was treating her. At one point, she had to stand outside in forty degree weather in a skirt, and had just barely survived. It had been early morning, but she had to go outside for a bit... It was a long story. Regardless, she was able to tolerate that much of the cold. Her legs were crazy resilient.
This was much, much colder- cold enough to make snow appear. At least today she had been ready. Bundled up, she looked like a burnt marshmallow with her black coat and dark pants, shoes, and mittens. Today, she decided, she was motivated enough to go outside and build a snowman. Minus the carrot. Those things were too inconvenient to bring and too mainstream for a snowman, anyway. She didn't have coal, but she had stones.
The snow in the place she'd stopped by was bare, so the girl was only able to scrape together enough snow to make a snowman that only came up to her thighs. Pitiful, really, but he was tall enough to wear the Christmas hat she had worn out she supposed.
She was born in the winter, so she'd always been ready for it. She was ready for the holidays,

...but she wasn't ready for Alfred.

A puff of air visibly exited her mouth as she watched him move. With weather this cold, it was hard to say he was making the area hot, but... it was really hot in here amirite?
STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT. THAT'S GROSS.
The gal paused in inspecting her pitiful snowman and stood, quickly closing her mouth to hide the fact that she'd been gaping for a few seconds. Oh, what to say, what to say...
After a moment of intense thought, Nancy called, "Oh, geez. Uh, how do you survive like that?"

Oh, sh!t. Glancing over as he heard the girl's words towards him, Alfred just smiled and laughed a little bit, shrugging. Okay, that was actually a legitimate question. After all, he was shirtless in cold ass weather. Hell, there was always someone asking how he f#cking survived, either that or they asked if he was insane for it. No, not insane, just really warm all the time. And used to the snow.

"Super warm body, I guess. And you know, muscle." Just to prove a point and joke around all the while, Alfred crackled his knuckles, muscles in his arms tensing and showing themselves off while his veins became more prominent, pushed up towards the surface. If he legitimately flexed his arms, it would be even worse. And by worse he meant better.

[color=#FCDC3B]"How's the snowman coming along?" It wasn't a big snowman, but it was big enough to catch his attention. And it had a hat. Snowmen in hats always caught his attention. Regardless, he'd noticed he'd distracted her from her creation of a snow being and felt amused as hell. Who knew, maybe if he stood too close the snow would melt. Ha, wouldn't that be something?

He tugged at his dog tags, playing around with them as they clinked with the familiar soft metallic sound. Sh!t, they were already cold. That's what he got for wearing metal in the cold, but at the same time, he never took these off. Ever. Nope. If they were somewhere he was not, expect he was dead or missing. Always expect the worst.
