The reddish she-cat blinked open her amber eyes to a new day, breathing in the crisp cold air of leaf-fall as she forced herself awake. While she would like nothing better than to curl back up around herself, capturing whatever warmth might be left with leafbare just around the corner, she had things to do. Padding out of the den and stretching out to bring back life into her stiffened muscles and joints, she took a look around, her gaze landing on one of her clanmates. The warrior couldn't really recall ever spending much time with the apprentice. Come to think of it, she couldn't remember their name. How embarrassing.
Bounding over to the youth, she meowed a greeting to him. "Good morning."
