As the second born son, Prince Kai of Elmen was always dead last to his older sibling. His name was Lance, and he was stronger, bolder, and stubborn than he. Kai was a quiet boy, his words mostly falling on deaf ears. But he was kind, and understanding- and regrettably to his parents, a curious explorer. His chambers were filled with books and maps of all ages, his sketchbook littered with drawings of places he had visited.
He wasn't the most adored one of his family.
It was a surprise when he was given a gift from his older brother on his birthday- a ticket. It was a simple slip with the words " Ship to Madagascar " a pass of some sort for a month cruise- it was amazing. Of course he accepted it, his bags already packed by the maids as he was escorted to a lovely ship, the night sky making it more beautiful to see- as he had to leave late at night to catch the ship.
|| your character is a pirate captain who has received payment from Kais older sibling to Bring Kai to Madagascar and Give Kai to The Priests on the east coast to be sacrificed to the kingdoms God for a blessing. The trip will take a month, and Your character will be payed a large sum of gold afterwards, however he has already been paid a small amount for assurance and has agreed to do the deed.||
The short prince carefully made his way on board, handing someone his pass and being greeted by another male who took his baggage and brought him to his room.
Kai looked about and the ship started to leave- His eyes watching the fading shore line. His attention turned towards the slamming of his door, and a lock being heard from the other side. His bags were empty when he checked them- and he slowly realized what had happened.
"hey wait! Let me out!"
He was saddened as hours went by, his stomach growling from the lack of nourishment. His tired eyes shutting as he rested his head on the worn pillow, the hard small mattress which he was to use as a bed. Not a minute passed bye before he heard the door creak open, one of his eyes opening to see a male. Possibly the captain.
