pretty sure i just failed a test...

    [align=center][size=10][font=georgia]i've never failed (or even came close to failing) a test or quiz in my life... i just feel awful right now. i feel stupid and irresponsible. i studied and i still didn't understand any of the questions... hell, i consider a 75 awful. i was just around the mark i wanted to get in this class and this no doubt brought it down at least a few percent... i haven't felt this bad in a long time.

It can be very difficult to accept not meeting your own standards for tests especially, but the most important thing to remember is that it's your effort that counts. If your teacher doesn't offer test retakes or corrections (many do for failing grades, and some for grades less than a 70%), just make sure you do all your homework and study more and ask more questions for the next test. Another very good thing you can do to make yourself feel better is to go in for help before or after school if your teacher allows it, so that you can learn whatever it was you were missing for that test.


    If you worry about your parents freaking out about the grade, I've found that the best thing to do is to let my parents know about the grade upfront and immediately, so they find out from me rather than from the online gradebook, and I promise them that I did study and I'll make sure to learn the concepts I obviously did not understand fully.
