Legend watched the horses around her. She enjoyed watching them, feeling her own sorts of connections to each of them and observing their interactions with each other. -

Payton's ears flicked backwards as a small breeze picked up. The Appy mare pardoned herself, and walked farther from the rest of the horses, her honey colors orbs scanning the area. About 30 yards away, she stopped, facing the outside of the herd. Everything appeared fine to her, but it never hurt to be on your guard. Her rump, splashes white like snow, no doubt stood out from the rest of the horses in Eden's herd. After all, Appy horses are not a natural occurrence. Her palomino tail flicked to-and-fro in agitation. She was not particularly fond of social matters, and even talking with others could seem like a exhausting thing. -

shaking her head to clear her mind, and to disrupt any lurking flies, the mares turned around and spotted Eden not far off. She watched for a minute, looked away, then returned her gaze. He didn't seem to be doing anything... not anything important at least. Payton picked up to a small trot, making her way over to the lead stallion before slowing beside him. Not matter what the other mares may think of his confrontation, Payton was not looking to drop a foal with him, but merely strike up conversation.
"Eden," she nickered, slim ears angled forward with curiosity. he slacked her right back hoof, swishing her tail ever few minutes -

The mare turned from Eden, and she nodded kindly at the dapple grey mare that approached, adjusting her long white legs to let Legend into the "circle". She flicked an ear, her soft brown eyes looking over the younger mare. "Payton," she introduced, giving a soft now of her head to the mare. She had seen Legend lurking around in the herd, often keeping to herself; so say the least, Payton was rather surprised she was opening up and joining her and Eden. -

Stepping back to give the mare room and allow her to have her own "bubble space," Paytons nose flared as she smelt the air, the promise of rain singing the air. Good, they needed rain. this years if they were to raise the herds foals well. "Its nice to meet you too," she nickered, her slender ears swiveling to Legend. The other mare has a sweet, softer voice when compared to Paytons, which was more rough and blunt. -
