    "Lydia?" Matthias called, long tail lashing back and forth behind him. It wasn't out of irritation, it was primarily just due to the fact that he had yet to get used to having such a large vessel. Anyways, he had a question for the new matriarch. "Should our allies be informed of our leadership changes?" The cougar asked, brown eyes glancing around for the female. Since the other high positions were on probation, Matthias figured that he should just ask her directly. They only had one ally as of now, so it probably wouldn't be a problem -- Lydia would probably tell them herself, but Matt was just curious.

"i think lydia already told shadowclan? which was the only clan she didn't make our allies," she offered an explanation, but waited to see how her fellow elitists responded. although she was confident that she was correct. in her mind, it was impossible for her to make an error when everything asked was so simple to answer. had he been living in a hole up until now? she might have recognized him vaguely, but she believed that he wasn't a member she saw too regularly.

    [justify]Hadn't Lydia only been leader for, like, a day? Perhaps he had been gone longer than he'd thought. "Oh," Matthias frowned, slightly put-off by his lack of observation. Honestly, he hadn't even known Lydia before she became leader, so that just went to show how much he really payed attention, now didn't it? "I guess I better crawl out from under my rock," the puma continued blandly, rolling his large shoulders in a dismissive shrug. "I'm glad she's got things handled, then." Personally, he thought it would be rather beneficial to the Elite to have a leader as efficient as Lydia seemed to be. "Thanks," Matthias added after a few more moments.
