dont know if anyone remembers this guy but he's an ex-medic of darkclan and he waaass in another clan that wasn't on earth.

so he's always had a breathing problem but i dunno if im doing it right?
i make it so if he does anything physical he looses breath and his breathing gets heavier and broken and he can even pass out from it[/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost][size=10px]template © wolfe. | #wolfetemplates[/size]

FLIES IN BC EUN IS THE KING OF "MY LUNGS HATE ME"

i think that kind of sounds like asthma?? that's how i played it out with my character, he couldn't run or walk very far without his lungs decided that he needed to stop and catch his breath. he would go into attacks if he didn't stop exercising or if he got too worked up and then he would pass out if he didn't get to his inhalor anymore. what i mean to say is, that your character sounds pretty alike so i think to an extent you are playing it correctly.

lol coming from my loser ass who gotta use an inhaler whenever she gets sick

i have really, really bad asthma if that counts ?? im on like 4 medications for it and i tend to pass out ://
for scale, the peekflow results of someone my age/height/weight without asthma should be 500, and i can only reach 100-200
from what i can describe it kinda feels like i always just inhaled and im holding my breath??
it doesn't always have to be triggered by exercise, i have trouble breathing if im nervous, around hot air, around really cold air, dust, mold, or even if i drink something with too much acid, or if i do any physically activity lol.
if im having breathing problems my breathing gets really weak, like i wouldnt be able to blow away a q-tip if u catch my drift

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 420px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15px;]okay so asthma runs in my family - I don't have it but I do have a sickness that causes inflammation of the lungs and makes it hard to breathe, (not permanent, don't think so anyways.)

    - Breathing too deeply causes sharp pains in the chest area and can lead to coughing.
    - Laughing also leads to an inability to breathe properly.
    - An inhaler only helps sometimes, though it depends on the type.
    - Physical Activity causes chest tightness and hard to breathe.
    - Headspins bc of lack of oxygen.
    - Trouble sleeping.
    - Lying down makes it harder to breathe.
    - Cold air makes it worse.
    - Exhaustion.

I had asthma very, very briefly when I was younger. It wasn't that bad bc I don't have it now but when I breathed apparently I like... wheezed or something like that? Also, the cold air made me cough a lot — not from sickness, just asthma.
It was very mild though, and I don't know all too much about it still.

    serah .

i've been on meds since i was five and i've had to go to the hospital several times aND I ALSO HAVE THROAT PROBLEMS SO oN CHRISTMAS FUCKING EVE WHEN I WAS SIX BC I WAS REPEATEDLY BLACKING OUT AND I COULDNT BREATHE =D YEAH but yeah all the stuff people said above!!

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 430px; height: auto;][justify]I haven't had it properly diagnosed yet (my school nurse says there's probably something wrong with my lungs, but my parents don't care enough to have it checked out lmao), so my information might not be entirely accurate or even be targeted towards breathing.

My chest tends to feel like someone's constantly pushing on it, in comparison to how I felt when I was younger, even if I'm just standing or sitting. Constant physical activity - especially running - makes me extremely out of breath and incredibly tired within minutes despite the fact that I'm in shape for someone of my age. Depending on how hard I push myself (ie. maybe 5-6 minutes of a continuous slow run/fast walk?), I get dizzy and my vision can get really blurry. I'll usually collapse or faint afterwards if I don't sit down or do a simple repetitive action to keep myself conscious.

Holding my breath hurts and makes me feel very tired afterwards, which makes me unable to swim for long periods of time. It's really easy for me to hyperventilate as well; panic attacks are much more severe for me because of this. I've also been abnormally susceptible to chest and throat infections (think bronchitis and strep throat) despite my family usually having above average lung strength and capacity.
