"So, now that we are living together we need to get you a key. So, after going to the mayor's office we should drop by another store to get a new key." Kai opened and closed the door before leading her onto the sidewalk. He led her through the park and walked up to a big white building. "This is where he works," he explained.

Danielle nodded slowly. "Okay." She said as she walked beside him. Her gaze scanned the area, frowning.

Kai's gaze was glued on Danielle's face so, once he saw her frown he thought he did something wrong. "I'm sorry if I upset you in some way, that is not my intention so I apologize."

Danielle blinked and shook her head. "No, youddidn'tdo aanything" She says quickly . "I-I was just thinking.." Shesays, smiling sslightly, trying to reassure him.

He stepped in front of her and asked "If it's not me then, what is it?" he asked. He didn't like seeing her upset, in fact it hurt him every time he saw her in pain or discomfort.

Danielle gazes up at him. She shook her head.

Kai sighed and continued to walk. He wasn't going to force her to talk, she would have to come to him if she wanted him to help. He just headed into the building silently.

She followed slowly, gazing around. She frowns, staying quiet as well.

Kai walked into the mayor's office and turned to Danielle. "I will do all the talking so, you don't have to explain anything if you don't want to." He then closed the door behind them and started to explain their situation to the man.

She nodded and stayed quiet. She listened, folding her hands behind her back.

After Kai finished speaking to the man he was given an envelope full of money. The two shook hands and Kai led Danielle out of the office. He then handed her the envelope and said "We are officially roommates and that is your allowance for the month."

"Thanks." Danielle replies gently, taking the envelope from him. She smiles softly.

"Now, where do you want to go?" he asked. He had always been leading her and doing what he thought was right but he never stopped to ask her what she wanted.

"I-I don't know." She says, rubbing the back of her neck slowly.

"When you're with me what do you think about the most?" he asked. Maybe it would help him figure what she wanted the most. He might also find out how she really feels about him.

She blinks. "I-I don't know.." She said, sshifting a bit, unsure of how to answer his question.

"Oh, alright," he sighed feeling disappointed. "Well, let's head back and figure out what to do in the morning. I can warm us up dinner and we can talk about everything later."

She nodded and smiled slightly, moving towards him slowly. She yawns briefly, rubbing her eyes softly.

Kai gently wrapped an arm around her. "If you're tired, then you can lean on me until we get to the house. Then you can go to sleep if you would like. You've had a pretty busy day and you could use the rest."

Danielle hesitates and slowly leaned against him. She closes her eyes briefly. "I'm not tired.." She says, blinking at him.
