  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Ginger paws skimmed across the grass, the wind roaring past the feline they carried. She'd gotten carried away on her journey to Windclan, the whispers of the wind having gotten the girl excited as she bounded and leaped through the air, giggling to herself all the way. It was only when she reached the border that she stopped. Panting and out of breath, the girl paused, her eyes sweeping across the large expanse of territory. It was so big and exciting... she couldn't wait to explore it all. Though first she'd have to join, have to go through that whole routine process of 'name and business please'.

Sighing, Jupiterkit let her eyes sweep across what territory she could see, each scraggly grace shoot seeming to reflect her green orbs. Those same orbs were slowly filling with excitement as the situation began to dawn on her. She was going to see her mum again - it'd been so long since she'd seen Holydove, from the time she'd been able to walk she'd taken that chance to get her scrawny rear out of Windclan and out looking for adventure. Part of her wanted to say that she regretted it but she didn't, the experience had been spectacular. Exciting.

Though now it was over and she wanted to see her mother again. She wasn't sure where her siblings were but just seeing her mother would be enough for now. "Hello?" Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke, almost as sweet as the lollipop that occupied her mouth. "I'm Jupiterkit, I was wondering if I could join? Oh and if someone could get my mum - Holydove - that'd be awesome!"

"You're a spirited little lady, aren't you?" the Brit chuckled as he made his way over at the sound of her announced presence. Jupiterkit. She was cute - fur kissed by fire. A bit young, but would be grown soon enough. Bah. Oh, she was Holydove's daughter? He'd better keep his mouth shut then. He had never seen the rabbit be anything but kind, but who knows what wrath she might be hiding if he tried to woo her daughter.

"Well, you're accepted. Welcome to WindClan. Your mother should be along shortly, but let me know if you need anything else, all right?" He offered her a grin, arguably devilish and flirtatious in nature. "I'm Greypaw."[/fancypost][fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 430px; border-bottom: 4px solid #161616; margin-top: -10px;][/fancypost]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid #000000; width: 440px;][justify][size=7pt]Up until this moment, today had been a fairly normal day. Holydove was on her way back from her garden, carrying her basket that was now brimmed to the top with various delicious looking fresh picked vegetables and fruit for her dinner tonight, going to make her way back to her cabin to store the food away when she overheard the conversation. The female's familiar voice was what caused the rabbit to freeze, quickly whirling her head around in surprise. No. It couldn't be. Her first litter had taken off many many months back to explore the clans and live their own lives. But it was who she thought it was. It was her daughter from her first litter.

Her first litter had... a very grim story behind it. One she'd rather not explain to her clanmates. It was before she delivered Aslanskies, her biological son she had willingly with her ex-husband. Back before Cherviltea was leader and Sam Blackwood had been in charge, the ghost that haunted her to this day was more bent on making her life a living hell then it usually was. It had possessed her body, made her shape shift into a domestic feline, forced her to drink heavily and sleep with a man she did not love or want to be with. While it had not been the kind of r*pe most people went through, the experience was still very much just that. She'd been forced to sleep with someone, and as a result she had her first litter of children.

Despite the many sad circumstances she was in, she still loved every single child she ever had. Despite the fact Aslanskies hated her for leaving the clan while he was still a baby and never wanted to speak to her again or let her back in his life. Despite the fact Happypaw, Doctorpaw and Jupiterkit (who she assumed had to be close to apprentice age by now) ironically left the clan and left her behind. She always believed it was life's way of telling her she was not good enough to raise children or ever have any of her own. It was her punishment for being so weak and emotionally broken. She prayed to God that her clanmates who didn't know she could shapeshift wouldn't ask why one of her children was a domestic feline, another was a tiger, and she herself was a rabbit. She never wanted to open the can of worms that was her painful past memories. Her memories still dared to push her to hate herself even more then she already did. Family, even in her previous life when she was human, was always a very painful topic to her.

Holydove struggled to process what she saw, her throat tightening as a mix of emotions swirled in her chest. She wondered how Jupiterkit felt about her. She wondered what Aslanskies would do. She wondered if Jupiterkit would choose to stay here this time. She suddenly looked about ready to break out crying. But she had a trembling smile on her face. "I'm so glad to see you back home, Jupiterkit. Please stay as long as you want. I love and missed you so much." she mustered out. All she wanted was for Jupiterkit to love it here in Windclan just as much as she did.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Jupiterkit's head tipped to the side as Greypaw greeted her, her smile only seeming to widen. "Thanks!" She giggled at his opening statement, he certainly was right, spirited, little and a lady, she happened to be all three of those. Her gaze became observant for a brief moment, intrigue flashing across her features as she observed him. Brittish, muscular, pretty eyes and as if to top it all with a bow it didn't seem as if he were too much older than herself.

Oh good, she'd been accepted, she wasn't necessarily worried she wouldn't be but it was still quite the relief nonetheless. "I'll keep that in mind, thanks a ton Greypaw!" She grinned, briefly pulling the lollipop from her maw, she enjoyed the sweet taste it left in her mouth for a moment before grinning once again. "It's a pleasure to meet you by the way," Jupiterkit hummed, only barely picking up on the devilish smile he offered her. She had to bite back a giggle in the fear that he might just misinterpret it.

But then she saw her mother. A broad variety of various emotions seemed to swell in her chest, sadness, regret, joy, excitement, anxiety - it all seemed to bubble in her stomach until she felt her own eyes beginning to blur briefly. Even though she'd dreamt and planned this moment for so many weeks... it didn't quite help in the actual moment. No, now she was at a loss for words, a very rare happening in Jupiterkit's life. Having now been able to see her mother, face to face, it really made her realize how much she'd missed her - how much she'd missed having a family.

Her metaphorical brows seemed to furrow together, her gaze softening as she gazed down at her mother, Holydove, a rabbit. It was a surprise that she'd recognized her mother so quickly but perhaps it was that family bond that a lot of animals seemed to always carry on about but never display. Now she understood it. It took Jupiterkit a few moments to process her feelings, to process the emotions that seemed to send her mind in a loop. Regret seemed to be the most prominent emotion, though, it stabbed at her stomach as if it were trying to make her feel worse about what had happened.

She'd left. Jupiterkit and her siblings had run off to find some sort of adventure while leaving their broken mother behind. It'd been selfish and unnecessary. Her throat tightened as her mother finally spoke - it'd been so long since she'd heard her mother's voice. Too, too long. "Mum..." She breathed, suddenly pushing the bright smile back upon her face. She wouldn't leave her mother again, she couldn't do that to her mother, not for a second time anyways. "I missed you too, I don't want to leave again, not ever again," Jupiterkit assured with a tearful nod of her head. "I love you too mum, I'm sorry - I'm sorry for leaving, it won't happen again."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; color: white]Porcelainkit—affectionately dubbed Porce by a few of the WindClan members—had grown attached to Holydove since arriving to WindClan as an orphan. Her own mother had been too careless to keep track of her, and they were separated days before the first snowfall she'd ever seen. It was nice, she thought, to meet one's mother again under the best of conditions. Holydove seemed to have no problem welcoming her daughter back to the clan, and it seemed her daughter was happy to see her.

She padded towards the small group, a smile smile making its way onto her face. "Hi there! My name's Porcelainkit, but you can call me Porce!" she chirped, waving a paw in the air as greeting. "It's really nice to meet you, Juptierkit! I love there being more kittens around," she declared with a smile.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Cherviltea arrived shortly after Proce, aureate orbs shifting towards the other individual. Holydove's child, apparently? He hadn't realised that Holydove had had many children, though a few happened to come to mind, such as Happypaw and Aslanskies. However, he didn't believe that he had met this individual, though it seemed as if they hadn't joined Windclan prior to now, either. The reunion between the two managed to ease a smile upon his maw, as he proceeded to offer the other a nod in greeting. "Welcome to the clan, Jupiterkit. I'm Cherviltea Xerses. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, alright?" He didn't want to press her with much more, seeing as the mother and child were evidently sharing a moment, however, he combed through welcoming the other and introducing himself, nevertheless.

    / GROWLERY AAH HEY!

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 420px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15px;]People had happy reunions with their family all the time it seemed, and then there was Anima. She had all but given up on seeing anyone from her family again, or at least if she saw them it would not be upon good circumstances. There wasn't going to be a happy reunion in the near, distant or eternal future in terms of relations.

Which was a shame really, but she supposed she brought it upon herself. Regardless, she wasn't supposed to mope in front of joiners. "Hey, welcome to Windclan. Name's Annie, glad you could find your mum."

Jupiterkit turned her warm, grassy orbs towards Porcelainkit, a wide smile spreading across her maw. Her head tipped gently to the side as she observed the other for a moment, her smile never seeming to falter. "Porce, that's such a cute nickname!" Jupiterkit gushed, already thinking of the possibility of her and Porcelainkit becoming friends. While Jupiterkit was the older of the pair that didn't mean that they couldn't get along. "I love your bow as well," Jupiterkit giggled as she waved her paw in return. Man, she wished that she had cute nickname but there wasn't really much you could shorten Jupiter to. Pit maybe?

Next her gaze flicked to the leader, Cherviltea. He seemed like a nice guy, he had to be if he was a leader right? Or perhaps Jupiter's experience in the outside world hadn't completely wiped away her naivety. "Cherviltea," she momentarily repeated before grinning. She liked that name, she'd never heard anything like it before. "Thank you Cherviltea, I'll keep that in mind!" The girl chirped brightly, the enthusiasm never seeming to leave her tone. Everyone here was so nice and welcoming!

Jupiterkit wasn't aware of Anima's situation, if she could she'd probably wish that the other was able to see her family and that they'd all be happy to do so. But that was impossible. Only Anima's family could fix their problems, not a wish from a child. "It's nice to meet you, Annie! I'm glad too," Jupiterkit reassured with a brief nod of her cranium.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][color=#969696]I would focus on Greypaw for a moment, and curiously raise an invisible eyebrow up at him. "Perv," I would fake cough in his direction, as I moved myself somewhat near mister boss man. Turning my attention to the child in question, I would offer her a small and curt (not meant to be unfriendly, mind you), nod in greeting. "I'm Trenchwarfare, or just Trey. Hi!"
