PASSION ✴ LOYALTY ✴ INTELLECT[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor=white; border: 1px double black; color: black; border-radius: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0pt; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9px; box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px 0px lightslategray inset;]The Darlings are an expansive anti-clan based family which was founded in the spring of 2013 by Amour, a Bloodclanner. The core beliefs and virtues of this family are: Passion and motivation towards life, the pursuit of excellence, and altruism for one's clan. Loyalty and dedication towards allegiances and family. Intelligence and the achievement of knowledge, the utilization of rational thinking, and problem solving aptitude. You will be hard pressed to find an individual of this family who do not actively seek to be the embodiment of these traits, with things like laziness, self indulgence, and selfishness being frowned upon.
While this family is anti-clan based, you may find that members carry this surname into pro-clans as well. Individuals are never likely to be stripped, formally, of this last name but may only be included in main family functions if allied on the "correct" side of things. However, generally Darlings will work to keep family bonds strong despite political boundaries that may present itself. Bear in mind that the core virtue of loyalty is one which emphasizes dedication to clan, and somebody leaving anti-clan life in favor for a pro-clan may be viewed as treacherous despite this, and all relationships are meant to be forgotten in the heat of war: Loyalty to your clan comes first, with family being a second tier. For the sake of simplicity, consider pro-clan Darlings to be handled on a case-by-case basis, with their relationships with "core" members being a key factor in how they will be perceived/treated.
This family, though created by a first generation character is incredibly high position related, with many members being current or previous high positions. It is also a family that currently spans 9+ generations, and in the years since its creation has found itself having rich historic ties to important events in-universe. So what do you think?
