    Magnus skimmed his eyes over the letter his mother had sent. He had a big family. His mother and father were both red pandas, but when he was born, Magnus' father left, and mum started dating a koala. (Weird, I know?) But soon after they adopted Gabriel, whom Magnus loved just as much as he would his own biological brother. Gabriel was a weasel, so he was small and looked out of place in the family tree, but so did many others. The family tree didn't consist of many red pandas at all, actually. They were quite an interspecial bunch, whether these relations came through adoption or multiple bodies. His Aunt Sprite.. Yes, he remembered her. Quite well, actually. She was a cheek-pincher. But Aunt Sunspot wasn't around much. She was a domestic feline, and so were her kids. The rest of the letter worried him. The 'g' word... Eugh. Magnus' mother always sent his letter back to him when she replied, because she didn't like to keep clutter around the house. He glanced over at his letter - his reply.


    [b]Dear mum,


    I'm sorry, I haven't had time to write recently. I've been super crazy busy here in SUNCLAN. Not Suntribe, by the way. Of course I remember my aunts and cousins! I'll be happy to meet Maxxie and Sketch as soon as I can! Tell Gabriel I miss him too, and that I'll totally visit some time! I've got loads of friends here in Sunclan-- But I wouldn't want to put them through having to deal with you! Just kidding. Yes, of course I have a girlfriend! She's super nice, funny and pretty, and she's so eager to meet you! I'll tell you more about her in my next letter.

    That was a lie. A filthly lie. Magnus didn't have a girlfriend. And chances are he wasn't going to get one anytime soon. He remembered the eager wait between these letters. It was a while before she got back to him. At first, he waited anxiously, predicting an angry reply. Something along the lines of "You liar! You haven't got a girlfriend! I can tell, in the way you.. write?" Either way, Magnus was petrified to recieve the next letter. But when he did, he felt frozen in his tracks.


    Dear Magnus,


    I'm so sorry. Your grandmother is dead. As a result, I'll be coming to stay with you for a few moons in Sunclan. I'll be there in a week. I'm eager to meet your girlfriend.

    Magnus looked around where he was standing, and awkwardly called out among the NPCs. "Soooo, who wants to pretend to be my girlfriend?"

He didn't handle certain things well, drama being one of them, and he'd do about anything to avoid any talk of those... things. Negatives came with it too of course. He couldn't go to small family gatherings, he didn't know who his parents were, he didn't even know if he had a close relationship with his family at all. He also didn't know if his family members were even alive, but that was something he didn't like to think about.


    To him the members of Sunclan were his only family, if you could even call them that. He wasn't close with anyone – discounting Seoul of course, who the mere thought of brought a smile to his face – but he cared for every member nonetheless, even if they didn't feel the same way about him. He tended not to think about that too much as well. He didn't need family members, he had people who cared about him too. Or at least he hoped so.


    He would be close by when Magnus called out, following the sound of the red panda's voice despite knowing he wouldn't be much help. He was older, he also wasn't a girl so that ruled him out. Still he figured he needed to see how this would turn out. "What do you suddenly need a girlfriend for?" He asked, voice hinting at how confused he was as he walked up. It seemed he was almost always confused though.


    He took note of the situation and decided, that just maybe, now wasn't the time to joke around. He'd hold back what he truly wanted to say, which was to bring up Poisonpaw who Magnus seemed to be flustered by. He supposed now wasn't the time to tease the other about his possible crush. "We need to like... set you up for a dating profile or somethin'? We could do speed dating, find out who's the best for you and shit." He couldn't tell if he was being helpful or not, he truly doubted he was, but hey - he was trying at least.

    Jan wasn't sure as to if any of his family still lived. His mother had died in her own terms, he knew that much. But his father had disappeared shortly after his birth, leaving only his aunt to care for him. Was she still out there? Bea had also vanished when she was small, and Juju and Sunny had both died and returned within the time he had lived in the Exiles. When the male had left, Jasper had been okay, but he wondered where his little brother was now. When he had visited Aria, she had said Juju still lived, but that had been forever ago. Plus, now Aria was gone.


    Now that he had moved around so much, it seemed he hadn't had the chance to make any real new friends, as much as he had tried. It was just so much of a challenge for him. Besides, he would probably just end up relocating once again and leaving anyone behind, so what was the point?


    Padding over beside Sixte, he was silent. Janshai was definitely out of the picture as he was not a girl, therefore could not be a girlfriend. But, he was curious as to the sudden need of someone to act as one for the red panda.

I could give you a makeover, give you a classy ass bow tie or something, and we could probably find some hot chicks around your age, I think."
