She gets excited, of course. That's what Ophelia was; excited. She had just found the box sitting around, and if she had been able to read, she would have seen the sign on the side that said "FREE". The box was filled with costumes designed for animals, ranging from her size to something that could fit on a very large dog. There was also random stuff like hats and masks and swords and stretchy tutus. Ophelia had seen her some of her clanmates wearing stuff like this, and she let out a yap of excitement. Now she'd be able to dress up, too!

She grabbed a very floppy pink hat in her jaws and pulled it out of the box, ducking underneath it to put it on her head. Nope. That was way too big; she couldn't see anything. She shook it off and started rifling through the costumes, a look of pure concentration on her face.

"Where'd you find this?" she asked curiously, as she gave her a small flick with her tail as a greeting. They had done this sort of stuff a lot when she was pup herself, always finding boxes of interesting clothes left behind by the humans who had once inhabited the old cruise ship camp.

Playing with costumes seemed childish, but the wolf would indulge in it for Ophelia's sake, and to satisfy the slight ache of nostalgia that the memories brought her. She pulled out a plastic viking helmet, settling it gently on the puppy's head. "Look, you have horns like me now."

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; height: auto; width: 420px;][justify][font=georgia][color=#FFF0D4]"Just around!" Ophelia said eagerly in response to Reyna's question, glancing at the wolf. She pawed at the crate, sniffing at the costumes. Her large eyes watched the leader as she took the viking helmet out and placed it on Ophelia's head. "Ooh! I bet we look like we're ru-lay-ted." The last word she spoke was difficult for her. It was three syllables, and though she was two months old now, words were still difficult for her. She wagged her tail cheerfully at Reyna. "Here, you can have this." She pushed the floppy pink hat towards Reyna, automatically assuming that she would want a costume.

Maybe it had been part of a gift basket left by an ally, or abandoned in the fortress by humans, or conjured by a bored Boneclanner. She shook herself slightly out of her thoughts. There seemed little point in wondering where they came from - the puppy had found them, that was all that mattered.

"Related," she echoed, noticing that Ophelia struggled to pronounce the word properly. Strange, how some could seem so grown up at the two moons old, while others still seemed so young. Her lips quirked into a small smile at the thought of them being family. She'd never had kids of her own, adopted or otherwise, but she liked to think that she was good with them. "I bet we do," she said.

Her smile faltered slightly as she saw the hat that the border collie pushed towards her - why did it have to be so pink - but she didn't want to disappoint her by denying it. She put it on her head, placing it slightly awkwardly between her horns. The rim dipped down above her eyes, annoyingly half-obscuring her vision. "Thank you," she smiled, hoping that none of her clanmates came over to see her wearing it.

Curious as to what was going on, the kitten would stumble over, eyes widened when he noticed the costumes that were lying in and around the box. "Whoa." He'd breathe, coming closer and closer to the thing, peeking in at the last second. "That's a lot of... um... stuff." What was he supposed to call it?
