But that makes sense, her being so young and all.

Over those four months Pastel had reached many achievements, the first one was opening her eyes. Followed by that, she began to walk, play, and she had gotten much larger in size. She liked to believe she was the largest cub Colouredclan had. Which, whether or not that is true is up to the imagination. But nonetheless, she had grown.

Now marked the fourth month of her being alive, and she wanted to do something big for it. Pastel, up until now, had never gone outside. Of course, she had seen it from the comfort of the nursery window, but never had she actually experienced what it was like outside of the nursery. Pastelcub wanted to save the day she went outside for when she was older, and she felt like today would work like no other. She was finally four months of age, and getting quite large for the nursery. So today would be the day.

The air was crisp and cool as it blew throughout the camp. The day was still new and bright and the sun shone clearly over the horizon. The sky was a creamy blue, with little dots of clouds floating by. Bird song filled the air along with the chatter of assorted Colouredclanners. It was a fine day.
Pastelcub took a breath of air and stared at the door. "This is exciting," She breathed before grabbing the handle with her tiger paws and pulling the door open. Her milky yellow eyes widened with excitement as she felt the breeze in her fur instantly.

She trotted outside the den with ease, taking in the world around her. Everything was so beautiful! Pastel looked around with a dorky grin on her face. This time was long overdue. I could have been out here by moon five! She scolded herself, but not dwelling on it for too long. Pastelcub was mesmerized by the scenery, the many different Colouredclanners - basically everything. "This place is so pretty!" Pasty exclaimed, her eyes bright with joy.

"I know, right? It never ceases to amaze me" the dark red tabby hummed with a flick of his tail as he hopped down off of his balcony. The crimson muffler fastened around his neck fluttered in the brief wind as he was airborne for seconds before his paws collided with the ground. The red fabric had flown up in a cape like manner and had fluttered with the movement of falling, falling down to his shoulders as he touched down. He felt the sting of the landing although he did not allow himself to think about the tingling pain that had shot up through his legs as he cast the younger being a light grin of greeting. Their comment about the beautiful scenery was and had to pipe up, instantly agreeing with the cub. He could still remember his first few days here, how he had wandered awestruck through the vibrant coloured plants of the various biomes that Colouredclan called their home. Even if he was currently ill, he still felt compelled to engage in conversation with one who shared the same view as him on the land that they inhabited.

"Oh, I'm Cherrypaw. Who might you be?" he added with a curious tilt of his head. His lips curled up into a smile that shone with innocent intrigue as the words left his mouth, ruby coloured eyes trained on the wildcat before him. He had not seen them around before and had instantly wanted to know more. His thirst for knowledge had led him out of the warmth of his own home although that was not too bad now, especially after Nighttales had gifted him with a rather beautiful scarf. It was much easier to wear than a blanket and a mask, that was for sure. Now he had the comforting scratch of fabric as well as the cover of a mask as he could easily pull the crimson material up over his mouth whenever he had to cough. It meant that he could greet others with ease now and befriend his various clanmates, Pastel being an example of one of the clanmates that he would not mind befriending. It was nice to be able to go out again without fear of spreading any illness.

"That was super cool!" She purred with glee. Pastel then waited for Cherrypaw to finish speaking, already really enjoying being outside even if it was only just for a few moments.

As he finished, she replied. "Oh, I'm Pastelcub, Whitegold is my mother! Do you know her?" She mewed with her head tilted to the side. Was her mother well known in the clan? Pastel would hope she was, after all, her mother was such a great warrior and she really looked up to her.spacehere
