    Brief Personality Description —
    Despite her age, Lionstar is still a young warrior at heart. Every day she goes about with great vigor and seemingly tireless energy, ready to make the day great. She is a full optimist, looking at the better side of things and pushing herself to do more good for herself and her clan. A social creature, she makes sure to mingle with those in the clan on a daily basis, allowing them to view her more as an equal than as a superior. Her patient and kind disposition makes her a cat who is easy to get along with, and often times she will break the stereotype of being a professional leader to take on a much more playful attitude. Kits and apprentices she adores, and many times will sit in or help with their training. For being an experienced cat, Lionstar likes to remain active in the clan and outside of it. Some call her a health guru, but she just likes to keep herself busy. What is life if she just sits around camp all day?




    When it does come time for being a leader to the clan, Lionstar takes her position very seriously. Loyal to the bone, she would fight to the death a hundred times to save her clan. If something goes wrong, she feels personal responsibility and will blame herself, even if she had nothing to do with it. Lionstar is constantly looking for more ways to improve the clan and protect it from enemies. She is also a very diplomatic and charismatic leader, able to remain calm in stressful situations and to speak peacefully with those who oppose her.




    At times, Lionstar has a tendency to be impulsive and brash instead of taking time to weigh all of her options. This does not mean she makes bad decisions, but she may not make the best decision she could have. In addition to this, once her mind is set on something there is no changing it. She'd sooner eat a mouse tail than give up on something, although this does make her quite a determined cat.




    In conclusion, Lionstar is a positive and involved leader, always looking for ways to make the clan better. Her decisions may not always be the best ones, but she is loyal to her clan beyond doubt.

    History —
    Lionstar has led a relatively normal life. As a kit she was a troublemaker, and this personality carried well into her apprenticehood. She and her mentor, Duckflight, often bickered, but most knew they had a deep bond with each other. He was like a father to her, and she looked up to him all the time. As a young warrior, she proved her worth by being devoted to the clan and putting her heart into her work. She loved being a young warrior, and little has changed about her since. She was named deputy shortly after receiving her apprentice, Yewpaw, at the age of twenty-eight moons. Lionfeather, at the time, became leader not quite a year later when she was thirty-seven moons old.

    Roleplay sample —
    Lionstar liked the night. Everything seemed so quiet as prey and predators alike slept. The only sounds were the occasional hoot of an owl and the rustling grasses that were disturbed by the wind. This was her favorite time of day, especially on nights as calm as this one. It had rained all day, but the night stars had come out anyway. While she was no fan of mud, she was perfectly content from her perch on a rounded boulder, safe from the swamp-like ground. From there, she had a clear view of the sky that contained the twinkling pelts of her ancestors. It was a bittersweet thought; so many friends she had lost, but what a reunion it would be when she joined them. Hopefully that wouldn't be for a while. Lionstar, despite being forty-eight moons old, was still quite young. She had yet to settle down with a mate. Time was always continuing, though, and she knew sooner or later she would have to work harder to achieve her goals. Thus far, she was content with her life. Few bad things had come up, and thinks in LeaClan were going well.




    'Don't jinx things.' she chided herself mentally, tapping her tail twice against the rough side of the boulder. As a leader, she was always trying to prepare for the unexpected, but that was a difficult thing to do. The unexpected was unexpected; how could anyone truly prepare for it? She needed to be nimble on her feet, and quick-thinking. What a job being leader would be if she was alone! Nightstar was a good counterpart, and she was grateful the elder leader was also there. Shared responsibility was much easier than it being all her own.
