Quick question on playable species

    So, for two of my characters, I was wondering if it would be okay to play them as an original species that I made? I just wanted to ask around before I did it, in case I was breaking any rules.

    just out of curiosity, what kind of species would they be?
    i'm assuming that they'd likely have to be created using mutations, but since those are free, then technically yes?
    i'd wait for staff but that's what i think about it

    Also they're (I have no name for them yet) they're basically a whole-aspect meld of any kind of avian species and kinds of canines?? Like dragon wings/scales/horns on a grey wolf, or dove wings/feathers/feet on a husky, or owl talons/wings/feathers on an arctic fox or smth
