"You think the Navy might be using this as a subtle move to cement any spies they sent into our ranks so we wouldn't doubt them?" Lazarus asked. "It is a worry that I also share, if we're being honest here." Lazarus admitted. "I can only see so much on the ship, but at least we don't have to worry about something like mutiny." He sighed. "If they do have spies, they've been well trained. The best I can tell you Captain is that I'll be on the lookout for any suspicious behaviour from the recruits. I'll tell some of the senior crew members about this as well so they can also keep an eye on them." He smiled. "Don't worry Captain, there's no way we'll be brought down by spies." He turned and watched the recruits filing down into the hole. "With our ranks replenished, we can basically operate at 100 percent efficiency I estimate, so we'll be able to hold on our own in a fight at least if we have too...." He sighed. "But will we be able to outrun the Royal navy? We've had some close calls in the past..."
