    There was a ~*~ghostly~*~ gift basket at the base of Gabriel's statue. It was ghostly in that it literally had various halloween paraphernalia stuck inside of it. Some cool ghostbusters marshmallows, ectocoolers juice boxes, sheets, and a small note. This note read the following.

An NPC had been on duty before, and had left to get Horizon. So of course no one really noticed the basket until he got there. Horizon titled his head at it before his gaze traveled to the note. Huh... So this wouldn't be a trap. With a grin, Horizon carefully pulled a sheet out and tried to hide behind the statue. He threw the sheet over top of him, waiting to see if he could hear anybody coming near to try and spook them.[/justify][/fancypost]

    "Horizon?" She called out, looking around. There was nothing but a weird gift basket; she padded towards it, curious and spooked from her clanmate's sudden disappearance.

So he'd been on his way to see how the defenses were coming along when he saw Chisk was looking around for Horizon, had he been kidnapped or abandoned his post? Eh, probably just had to take a piss and would be back in a minute. Still, someone had to watch over things and Chisk seemed more interested in playing hide-and-seek with Horizon to take care of things. The wolf padded over, pink-red gaze landing on the basket. Picking up and skimming the note he huffed. "I didn't do anything." He muttered, the closest thing he was going to make to a joke at the moment. "Chisk, c'mere." Maybe they could team up to take gifts to their allies. It could be a "bonding" experience.

An irritated look appeared on his face, less worried that Horizon had been jumping Chisk and more irritated with the shenanigans. But not everyone was as serious as him, or at least actually liked having fun. The look faded after a moment. Whatever, he wasn't going to be a buzzkill [i]every single time.     "Having fun?"
