He loved meeting new people, but at the moment he was accessing everything first. The tiger wore a white mask with a contrasting black skull painted on it. His friend, Zero the ghost pup floated idly above him.

[justify]Blindlove hadn't been able to read the note but had been fairly certain it was an invitation but, of course, she was quite surprised when she was given a mask to wear. Although she couldn't see it, it was a simple silver mask with a few intricate designs around her eyes but, other than that, it was quite plain. The Queen walked about, uncertain of who to speak to. She was the first to arrive from Westeros but she was always greatly interested in travelling and meeting new people. Now the only thing left to figure out was who she should approach first. Also, she had to continually sniff the air and adjust herself slightly so she wouldn't bump into anyone while walking about. Of course, with furniture about and whatnot it was still possible she'd trip over something but the more observant she tried to be, the better.

[justify][size=8]The feline nodded, raising her paw and then glancing around to see if anybody else was looking. She had happened to overhear Jammal speaking earlier with Afty. "Don't forgot the whole purpose of the masks. Just call me uh... Kaze for now." Without speaking further, she let him go as she saw him run towards a person supposedly named Cherv. Who else could she speak to? Surveying the current attenders, she noticed an African Wild Dog pelt standing out in the crowd. There was only one person she knew who it could be. "Psss. Hey there!" She murmured, nudging the fellow Queen.

Sasha padded to the ball with a rather detailed mask on her face. She didn't see a purpose in the mask for her, though. Her vampiric fangs, fjord-like mane and huge wings were a dead giveaway for the fae's identity. Sasha looked around a bit, trying to spot anyone she could recognize without the mask, before turning her attention to something to drink. She was rather thirsty after the journey, after all.

he moved silently until he was standing next kyou, someone he recognized from around the paradigm and around sunclan the few times he had been there. he settled himself down quietly next to her. looking out over everyone. he had to say that for his first actual party it was not as bad as he thought it was going to be.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px; line-height: 12px; margin-top: -10px;]Peregrine looked over as Seija joined her, a scent barrier and a mask still unable to keep her from recognizing her best friend, the one she was so desperately in love with. She supposed that it was time to cut her thoughts off before she got too sappy to be in public. At the suggestion that they stick together, she nodded in understanding. It still made her ears burn, even if she knew it was just because of the very fact that had been mentioned - Exiles could easily walk in the front door and everything would fall apart.

Dylan and Kakima were quick to follow her, and she would have known them anywhere. The good thing about her Clan being so small was that everyone who stuck around tended to stay for a long time, and she grew close to all of them. Everyone here from LithiumClan was considered one of her best friends. Then Suga spoke, and the pale cream feline gave another nod and looked towards the food table. Perhaps on the way there, she could see if anyone was interested in the telescope prints that she had brought with her.

Afterlife lifted an eyebrow, as if he was questioning the panther. However, after a moment, the masked Mage shrugged. He clearly didn't care to address the reply with any type of effort. "I suppose you have a point." The black smoke meowed, tracing his tongue against his teeth. "Name's Afterlife, nice to meet you Jay" The way the Paradigm warrior emphasized his name, however, showed a mild suspicion. "How was your travel here? Any trouble?"

The idea of a masquerade sickened him. Maybe there was a point he was okay with them, but since his wife was molested at a masquerade and consequently killed herself, well, he didn't like them. But he came, against his better judgment, adorned in a black and gold mask, hating every minute of it.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt] Jay smiled at the other's suspicious look, the corner of his eyes crinkled with the smile, gosh this was his first time meeting someone that wasn't part of the exiles. Well - beside those he met on the battlefield. He found it odd how the other was already suspicious of him. Did he take a guess of where he was from? he assumed so.

"The flight here was an easy one, but my wings are sore stiff. And how about you? You made it here in once peace at least, that's good." [hr]

Ah, masks. She'd worn one for almost as long as she could remember. Literally. Not long after waking up in the Colony, Twili had found her great stone mask, and had begun to wear it and uncover its mysteries over time. There weren't many times where she'd had to take it off, other than when she posed as an undercover citizen, but now, she supposed, she made an exception.
The Arcanist's Alurian pelt was unique enough to reveal who she was, she supposed, so to balance out her attire, she donned a mask that hardly had any patterns at all. It was mostly gold, though the only patterns that were present were textural patterns. Though it wasn't entirely made of lace, there was some of the fabric that trimmed her disguise to give it some sort of distinction. And to add some flare, fluffy white feathers protruded upwards from one side of her mask. It was an odd but nice change from her helmet, which sat atop her ears and covered one of her eyes at all times.
    Now to begin mingling.

Kakima turned and saw Kyou, her black pelt, feathered wings and purple eyes clicking in her mind instantly. Even with the masks, it wasn't hard to know who was who if you knew enough people like Kakima did.

"Can I help you?" she asked dryly.

Cyrus padded in as part of the group of masked Arcanists, following Twilight into the party. The crystals reminded him of the ones within their new territory, reflecting the firelight and catching his attention enough that he didn't realise he couldn't scent the clans of any other guests until he was standing around the fire pit. The nyari wore a forest-green mask that was dark enough to almost blend in with his fur. It was fairly plain, only decorated around the eyes with small white rhinestones. He was concerned that he might have to keep pushing it up, but thankfully it stayed in place, and Cyrus had a small smile as he watched the other guests milling about. He had a tiny basket sat down beside him, filled with some unique flowers that he'd picked in the deeper forest of the island territory. Hopefully someone would want to trade for them, but he didn't particularly mind either way- the party was going to be good enough without having the hassle of trading distracting him from it.

Afterlife seemed to just realize the set of wings along the male's back. His green gaze traveled over the feathered extremities, taking note then dismissing it. "Right" He murmured quietly to himself, turning to gaze Jay's gaze again. Then next comment made his eyes widened before narrowing in a bold disliking. "Are you implying i'm clumsy?" He demanded.

Feferi wore a pink, blue and red mask that she had found in the plaza. It had shiny sequins on the mask face, it glittered beautifully in the light as she walked. "Shello everyglub. I'm Feferi Peixes! I've brought along some sea shells and some other beach stuff to trade!" she glubbed. Other beach stuff included sand, seaweed, some pebbles that she had found along the beach and some otters that had followed her here. They had probably followed her because she had taken their pebble, but she wasn't aware of that. But the otters most likely wouldn't be traded off, they were living beings not some tokens to get something else in return.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt] 'Jat' blinked, and his ears lowered at the other's clear dislike, well it seemed like things were going south quite quick. he rather disliked it when others made assumptions, they interpreted something else entirely most of the time. Though he was a bit of a hypocrite, he was the exact same. "That wasn't what i was implying, I was suggesting that you made it here at the very least, I was implying your journey wasn't too dangerous, considering you were here; and in once peace." He hoped he didn't sound too defensive. But it seemed he already lost the war with makeing a new friend.

That was fine, he wasn't really here to make friends, was he?"[hr]

He liked it, but due to the circumstance of he left his bandana at the hotel: his muzzle wasnt covered, which made him 'bare.' Truth be told, his bandana was like a 'safety item,' it helped him feel less awkward.
He padded up with a few NPCs, dipping his head to the guild master that had invited them. Then he made his way to an opening where he could sit and look over the rest of the guests. However, being the clutz he was -he tripped twice on the way there.

Tessa approached quite silently, gazing around at everyone who had come and hoping someone who she knew was here. Cautious amber eyes scanned the crowd as she wished for Duskmire to have come so they could talk without fighting, but it was unlikely.
