This stupid planet has done something to me. Was his conclusion in between bites of a hare he had chased down himself and had been too hungry to bring back. He held the body down with one paw that had grown since he had come here and ripped at the flesh with teeth that were starting to loosen.

    The child was growing.

To be specific about his appearance, Sendak resembled a fully grown housecat despite his age begging to differ. Puberty for his race began typically between five and seven months of age and could take quite some time to complete. He was in for a great deal of awkward, terrifying growth spurts, losing teeth and growing larger ones, and far more emotions than he was currently used to. An awful time. The worst.

But for now, Sendak was focused on his meal, devouring the hare and not noticing how he had managed to put on weight despite having to acclimate to hunting on this planet. When he was done, the youth began cracking small bones with his teeth and spitting bits of hair out of his mouth, bored out of his mind.

"you don't look well. uh, you never look well, looking so sad all the time, but you look even less well than usual." ah, yes, it was about goldenpup's trademark nosiness came along. alien puberty was something she'd want to hear about, however.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Growth was a monumental thing, in an individual. After all, there was a saying that stated that only children really grew. Of course - it was a mere saying, fickle and metaphorical, depending completely on perspective. For example, if one were to look at the phrase biologically, then it would be wrong in every way. However, children were the types whom were the most open to change. They were blank slates, changed drastically over such small periods of time.. Not only physically and mentally, but morally, and ideally, too. Adults were too stubborn - they clung closely to what they had decided to believe during their last few years of growth between a young adult, and an older adult. It was far more difficult for them to change; not impossible, but still difficult.

"Something wrong, Sendak?" The collie would ask, aureate orbs shifting towards the domestic, as they continued to break the leftover bones of the prey that had quickly nestled into. It seemed as if they were rather bored, after all. Cherviltea had noticed their slight shifts in mood, though he had originally thought it to be somewhat normal for the child, considering that the collie didn't know them too well.. However, he was simply relieved that they weren't deciding to pick fights and beat the pulp out of other children, anymore. Therefore, he was able to offer a brief smile towards the individual, as he drew to a halt beside Goldenpup.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=; width: 420px; border-radius: 0px; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify; ] His tongue wrestled with a bit of gristle before he managed to successfully spit it out. Sendak eyed Goldenpup, struck with the sudden urge to fling the remains of his demolished meal at her and start screaming. The Galra stayed put. "I'm fine." He muttered, pawing a snapped rib. "And I'm not sad." The mauve youth added defensively, scowl darkening. He was about to add something nasty, and it was clearly written on his face until Cherviltea approached and the big-eared alien bit back his spite, turning his face so he could look at the older creature properly.

"I'm fine. Just hungry, is all. This planet's made me hungry, or something." It sounded ridiculous out loud, even to him, but Sendak didn't try to take it back or alter the statement. He just took a halved bone between his teeth and snapped it before standing up and stretching.
