The Reverend father had been frozen in amazement, he finally thawed when the Goddess handed him her bow. "H-hold on my Lady, you don't need..." And then she suddenly disappeared, "To give me your bow..." He finished. He just stared at Kurrhig when the half-orc gave his farewell.
Adalynn's mind was still trying to process all of the events that had just occurred when Kurrhig started to give his farewells. She had a distant look in her eyes while she gave the simple reply of, "ok." Her mind then realized that Kurrhig was saying goodbye when he walked out the door. "Hey! Wait a minute! I'm coming... to." She said that last 'to' quietly as she looked back to the Reverend, remembering that going with them on their mission wasn't really her choice. She gave him that small "please daddy can I go out with my friends" smile that a daughter would usually give their father, even though the Reverend wasn't her biological father.
He sighed, "Yes paladin Adalynn, you may go with them." To which came a happy, "Thank you!" in reply, before the paladin sped right out of the church. Putting a hand up to his head and sighing, he muttered, "I'm getting too old for this..." He then proceeded to go back into his room.
