    — "I know you." He's not sure if it's a question or a statement, but he lets it hover there for a moment, silence before and silence after. There shouldn't be a question as to whether or not he does; even this reaction makes sense to him. B makes sense, and most people don't.


    — "You're not in trouble, don't worry," he promises, and there's something soft about the words. Kind. He remembers where they came from, what they meant to him, what came after. It really is meant as a reminder, maybe. His way of saying it without actually saying it, but he's not pretending that it's that easy.

    It's this one. He totally has a nose. The cowl's just hiding it.

    Okay so Dark is turning more into AK Jason than I had originally planned. This is a mess. Uhm. So. Talking about traits so his character make sense:


    — The type to brood at the highest place he can find.
    — Fucked up moral compass; adrenaline junkie.
    — Always a little bit anxious, but often forgets that things make him anxious until he does them. For example, starting arguments with strangers. May panic later. Gets over it when drunk or with trustworthy people.
    — Still an adorable snugglebug who just needs hugs and love.
    — Hates being around strangers. Often resorts to physical ways to keep his anxiety in check or just turns to stone.
    — Drinks when remembering bad things.
    — Sex is a self-destructive habit.
    — Hates seeing people treat others badly for no reason. Sure, he can be an asshole, but if someone's asking nicely for help, he doesn't see a reason not to help them. Often treats stranger neutrally?
    — Still mostly submissive right now. He'll grow out of this once he's more comfortable, but he does better when people are guiding him.

    If you give Dark a clear, precise order in the right tone of voice, there's an 80% chance that he'll listen to you. 95% if he also trusts you.

    Okay so, Dark in human AUs. Will get to Win's height, though he's currently only a teenager. A bit slimmer than him at the moment? A lean build, sort of. A little on the buffer side, but not as strong as Win. Fluffy hair, more of a dark brown than black, shorter on the sides than the top. Grey-blue eyes? Not sure. Paler skin, even than Win. I'll write about his scars later, need to find the post about Win's, too. Compare the two of them.

    My characters are all?? Relatively tall?? Except Perseus, he'll always be tiny. Where did this pattern come from?? Why does this happen. Dark is totally going to just lean on Red whenever he's allowed to.
