  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]she was bored. the thing that really sucked about high school was the repetitive.. everything. classes, interactions, ect. it was so boring. mathematics, modern history, business studies, and then - the worst insult, music. if it weren't for her father being an artistic nutjob perhaps she'd have been able to take something useful, like biology or legal. avery was not musical. everyone in the room cringed as soon as she so much as neared an instrument, and the same went for whenever she opened her mouth. theory was fine. practical lessons were a chance to study. so here she was, enjoying her own company in one of the less popular music blocks, chewing at the end of her pencil to keep herself somewhat occupied.

it was a shame, being able to focus. teachers, counselors, parents had stressed that she'd get over it, that she wasn't trying hard enough. that was a lie. she wasn't trying at all. her grades had been fairly average until around grade eleven where she'd been slapped in the face with a round of scholarships she was to apply for. they'd improved just to drop almost as quickly because she'd gotten stressed again. fantastic. more lectures and visits to the year advisor. just what she'd wanted.

mint eyes would flick over her textbook once again only to roll back into her skull as her gaze landed on an unpleasantly realistic scribble of what seemed to be a wonderful piece of male anatomy. "hit and a miss, kid." with a sigh the girl would lean back against the wall, gaze resting on the peeling paint ceiling. public schools were great.

/i'm not good at starting threads i'm sorry
