  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border:none; width: 400px; font-family: verdana; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify;]Xenon hadn't been well'known by anyone's standard. He'd been in Blizzardclan probably three days before he seemingly disappeared. Maybe it had just gotten too overwhelming, dealing with the fact that he was now corporeal, but he'd run off. He disguised it as an attempt to find his siblings, but really, socialization was the complete opposite of what he wanted.

But, after the few days of total isolation, Xe had gathered himself again. Begrudgingly, he'd come to the conclusion that he wouldn't get used to this life if he hid from it. Not to mention, Gaia wasn't just going to let him go back to the way things were before, back in his elemental form, just yet, considering she was the one who had forced him to be here.

So, the elkhound had made his way back up the stairs he had been so confused about upon first joining, and sat himself in the clearing he recalled being a common place for... whatever they called those things... Meet and Greets? After all, there had been plenty of new joiners since his, uh, episode, and if he was gonna try and get used to this place, he may as well be acquainted with some of the people here.

"Meet and greet, anyone?" Xenon called out.

She was sure she had heard this guy somewhere before... maybe her memory was bad. Or, she had probably just gotten his scent from somewhere earlier but just didn't talk to him. It had been like that with Jasper, at least. They had never really talked, but she knew he had been around.

Now, the vampire wasn't particularly fond of meet and greets, but he understood how important they were.

When it came to meeting newcomers, attending meet and greets were the way to go. And he was a Deputy now, so... he needed to know pretty much the whole clan. How could he take care of and protect everyone if he didn't know everyone?

Stretching with a slight yawn, the starry Serval made his way over to the stairs. Despite the stretch and the yawn, his steps were precise and careful as he seated himself down near the interesting-looking canine and Mary, introducing himself calmly, "Enigmaticsoul Dubois-Väinämöinen. Matty. It's a pleasure to meet you."

  • "I-I'm Storm" the wolf barked with a faint smile, dipping his head in greeting. He loved meet and greets, as they didn't need many words and yet you seemed to learn things about a lot of people at the same time. So he sat down and wagged his tail slightly, listening to the introductions.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Beekeeper found it was getting harder and harder to walk around camp. He knew that it took time for stab wounds and bruised ribs to heal but it seemed as if a brick was getting added to his shoulders every time he woke up. And the pounding headache in his temple didn't help. The orange and white cat massaged his head absentmindedly, staring at a pretty leaf on the ground when he heard the call for a meet and greet by an unfamiliar voice. New member? The Paladin walked forwards, tail tip twitching as he rested his yellow gaze on Xenon. He'd seen him before but he'd kind of vanished after his joining. Well, looks like he's back again! That was good. More members, better activity for the clan. "Hey! I'm Beekeeper." His voice sounded hoarse from where his throat had been held by Morbidrealities.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border:none; width: 400px; font-family: verdana; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify;]Xenon did seem to recognize some of these people, if faintly. At the very least he may have seen the others in passing before, if they had no official greeting before.

The hound went over their name's in his head quickly. Why did so many of the people here have such long names? And on top of that, why did some have more than one? Some of the elements had long names, sure, but there wasn't any last names to go with them. He didn't even know what a last name was, if he were being honest. It seemed pointless. Matty, who had given all of his names, gave a shorter one in place of it, anyways. If no one uses each name in greeting, why were they there in the first place?

"Long name," Xe muttered, unaware he was thinking aloud. He squinted for a moment, before moving on. "I'm Xenon, if you didn't know. Good to meet you all, I guess." The 'I guess' wasn't really necessary, but it sort of just made it's way into the sentence out of habit. Xe did actually find it to be a good feeling to meet more people.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 430px; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;] Saltcircles never really cared about meet and greets. Sure, they were useful, but they were mostly a waste of his time when he already knew everyone in the clan. Except he didn't know everyone, which was a bit of a problem since he probably should have. He considered attending meet-and-greets a chore, and he'd honestly rather stay home. With a passive expression on his face, the Assistant Deputy made his way towards the clearing rather reluctantly. "You're the only person I don't know here. And you named yourself after a chemical," He stated blandly. it was true, though- the only reason he came here was to learn the name of this guy, which was... apparently xenon. "I'm Saltcircles, or Sal for short, if you didn't know already."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border:none; width: 400px; font-family: verdana; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify;]Named himself after a chemical? He didn't...

"I didn't name myself after anything," he tried to elaborate, bluntly out of confusion on the comment, "I didn't name myself at all, actually." Xe paused. His thoughts trailed off, not entirely sure how to explain his namesake. The element wasn't his namesake. It was him. But the last time he tried explaining that at his joining had ended in pure confusion from the others around.

If anything, the elkhound would try for an explanation should it be asked of him. But without any prompting, he wasn't really interested in sharing his entire backstory. Hell, he didn't really want socialization at all; the only reason he had started this mini gathering was because he felt a strange obligation too.

"I... regardless, it's nice to meet you, Sal," he finally said with a nod.

"I like the name...." The female spoke softly as she slowly made her way over to the scene. Her eyes flicked up toward the elkhound as she found herself a place to sit. Her eyes were clear today, not holding much of any emotion as she shifted from one paw to another. Pushing a more forced smile onto her muzzle the avian canine would try to relax before she curled her tail feathers against her flank. Things were happening all the time around her and she didn't know if she was happy about that or not. "My name's Belladonna and I'm happy to meet you."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 450px; margin-top: -6px;][justify][font=arial][size=9pt][color=#969696]"Your name is Saltcircles," the creature intoned as he approached the group, dark orbs latched onto the person in question. "Do you really have authority to b'tch at someone else's name." Despite it being a question, it wasn't really, more of a statement then anything else. He hated people like that, that needed to know everything about you- that picked your name apart, as if you could control it.

Flickering his black ears in annoyance, he'd turn his dark blue-grey gaze to Xenon, forked tail lashing in silent thought. "I'm Breakingpaw," he intoned in a slight gentler tone, though it was still the same disinterested voice he always used. "Or just Prince. Doesn't matter to me."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border:none; width: 400px; font-family: verdana; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify;]"Thank you," Xenon nodded, "I like your name too, Belladonna." He hadn't been upset about the comments, but he supposed to compliments towards his own name weren't unwelcome either. And Prince's retort did, at the very least, drag out a soft chuckle from the canine. "Nice to meet you, Prince," he dipped his head once more.
