He knew this. So he only touched it a little bit, as if still in awe that his eye was gone. Admittedly, it had already caused several problems for the youth, mostly in the realm of miscalculating distances and bumping into things on his blind side. The Galra was currently inspecting camp, sniffing at each cottage warily. Each step he took seemed to take a bit more effort than it should have, but despite the soreness still stiff and heavy in his muscles, Sendak made a point to carry himself with shoulders pulled back and his chin high, exuding as much confidence and authority as a purple baby with dumbo ears possibly could. And he was still a baby - he was so very small for his species, though for the standards of a typical domestic feline his size didn't exactly match his age. If he knew that he looked older as a different species, Sendak would probably be delighted.

However, at the moment, Sendak was completely unaware of this, and also clipping his shoulder on the corner of a cottage. The Galra youth spat a nasty word out before sheepishly looking around. That was definitely something he would have gotten punished for back home. Nobody heard. Sendak blinked his one eye a few times and repeated the word secretly to himself with a growing smug grin. He gave his shoulder a few quick licks and decided to steer clear of housing for a while. Housing could be dangerous to his health.

Nubby tail twitching, Sendak slowly made his way back to where he had come from. He had sort of decided to stick around, partly because this was the only place he knew of that had any inclination to help heal him - and it was working, too, Sendak had noted upon examining himself earlier in the day - and partly because, for all he knew, Windclan was all there was. It made him incredibly self-conscious, not knowing too much about this planet. It wasn't occupied by Galra and they didn't seem bothered by his presence, so he assumed that none of his kind had done what they were best at and conquered the planet. They had probably even overlooked it. Meaning they wouldn't find me here. If anyone was looking for him, anyway. He still couldn't remember the exact reason behind being here. Paired with the fact that he hadn't been able to locate whatever he had come here in, maybe...They would have killed me before banishing me. Sendak found a strange sense of comfort in this, but it ultimately did very little to soothe his worrying.

The child paused, shuffling his broad feet, tamping hard against the earth with his front paws to relieve the jitters that crawled under his skin. He wanted something to do but he still felt awful. That probably wouldn't keep him down for very long, however.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Cherviltea found the metaphorical sensation of running, familiar - running from a different race, trying to hide from them as a collective species, attempting to hunt you down, as if a player in some ridiculous game revolved around the slaughter of those who weren't in respective power, that was something that he couldn't quite relate to, as much. It seemed like a complicated problem, and though the collie didn't know of the other's situation, he.. probably would have still been willing to keep them here. They were a child, after all, and if whomever happened to be chasing them eventually caught up to them, then they'd handle that. They'd find a way to handle it.

"Are you alright?" Chervil would inquire, having been about to simply pass by, when he noted the way in which the child seated and shuffled themselves, as if they were eager to find themselves something to do.. Something to do, instead of sitting around, and tapping their fore-paws. That was understandable, in a sense. The collie couldn't say that he had ever been as fidgety of a person. As a child, he had simply trembled in the trepidation of doing something, instead of actually doing it. Now, on the other hand, he supposed that if he wanted to do something, he was a lot more inclined to get up and fill his time with whatever he had in mind.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=; width: 420px; border-radius: 0px; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify; ] Alright? Sendak wrinkled his nose at the question, staring at Cherviltea with a childish scowl. What did this stranger care? Am I alright? Well, let's see...He was healing (albeit slowly but whatever - this was the worst he had ever been injured, really, so he supposed it wouldn't be as easy to cope with as bumps and scrapes from his former training regimen), he was safe (?), and he had a place to rest... I've been separated from the rest of my kind and I don't know the nature of my departure, they could very well try to kill me if they found me, maybe I ran to avoid death, but I've never done anything to betray them, I would never - they probably aren't looking for me, do I want them to be looking for me? On one hand, he could dream up a thousand and one ridiculous scenarios in which he was found by a Galra crew and they decided to kill him based on You aren't true Galra, you've gone soft and let primitive aliens rub their weird smelly plants on you or You committed some heinous, un-Sendak-like crime and don't remember but we have to punish you anyway or something else equally unlikely but no less frightening to the youth.

On the other hand...Sendak, we were worried. We missed you. We tried to look for you after you vanished. We searched everywhere. Oh, wow. Gosh. Sendak blinked a few times, absently puffing out his chest a little bit at the immense feeling of sheer importance his imagine scenario gave him. Wouldn't that be nice?

He blinked and opened his mouth, suddenly realizing that he had staid quiet for an awkwardly long time instead of answering the question. "Yes. Who are you?" He didn't know anyone here, really, aside from the three that had been present when he arrived, so he figured that he had better get acquainted with anyone he came across. Windclan was big, after all - the abundance of scents around here backed that assumption. He suppressed the urge to fidget again, turning his head just slightly to appraise Cherviltea with his good eye. I shouldn't think of it as my good eye, He reminded himself. Only eye.
