[fancypost borderwidth=0;font-size:8pt; text-align:justify; line-height:125%; width:350px; margin-top: -5px;]The days grew longer and longer with each passing rise and fall of the sun in the autumn sky. The first day of leaf-fall was the morning before now, but it would be one of the first things to slip her mind that morning. She hadn't shown herself to the clan in a majority of days--almost weeks. No, wait, weeks was right. Almost months, that's what she meant. Leaving in the dead of the night and staying cooped up inside of her room, shooing away anybody who tried to arouse her. Teeth gritted Ava at teeth until she swore there was nothing left in her maw besides gum. SpiderStar had left the clan in her paws after her passing, but it seemed as all she had done was drag it into nothing. Only deeper and deeper into the dark abyss that it was left in, while she should of been swimming towards the surface. Great plans formed in her head, only to come to a standstill as her memory started slipping away, and the memories that she retained were muted. In her young days, Larkkit's memory had always been bad, not on her fault, but the disorder that she had been birthed with. Over time it seemed to of faded into nothing, leaving her with a sharp, clever, and utmost... Sassy... Personality. But now, all of that was deteriorating, leaving her too ashamed to even show her face to the rest of the clan. But today was different.

The torbie let her head rise from her paws, and pale, glazed eyes looked out into empty space, seemingly focused on something in the background, but utterly lost. "C-Cas...? Castiel?" she would breath quietly, repeating herself louder in a dry, gravely voice. It would be a miracle if her designed audience would hear her call, but none. That was excluding Birdpaw, of course. "F-fetch him." she would rasp to the apprentice, sending him away with a dry stare and a heavy flick of her tail.
