  • The plot is that our two characters live in the same apartment complex. My character just moved into town, and since he has a different outlook on life, our characters get off on the wrong foot. Although everyone isn't without their demons, maybe his dark past still haunts him. He's immature and knows how to have a good time, she's sophisticated and does everything right. Opposites attract right? Or will they just end up ripping each other to shreds. Just put your form and first post together and we'll start.

    Name: 'Crow' Davis
    Age: 23
Appearance: please excuse that I'm stuck on mobile for now until I get a new laptop but here's a link. (Some plot included in my drawing shown XD)

History: Crow's history is a bit of a mystery, and to why people call him crow and don't know his real name is another mystery all on its own. While yes he is immature most of the time, he is actually quite smart and intelligent. But he doesn't really show it, it takes him awhile to get adjusted to new faces but he's a kind soul.

IC: It was a cool spring morning and black clouds loomed over with the occasional sound of thunder. It was Crow's first day moving into the new town, moving day not really something anyone looks forward to, due to all the packing and unpacking. His black old Ford ranger stopped in front of the apartment complex. "Well at least it looks decent," he mumbled to himself, stepping out of the truck grabbing the first load of boxes. This is going to be a long day.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 415px; color: black; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 95%; text-align: justify;]The sound of thunder had Adrianne up since about 4:30 this morning, of course she was about half dead due to the fact that she hadn't gone to bed till about midnight like an idiot but she was managing. Finishing her second cup of coffee, the brunette poked through her blinds to check how the weather was doing. No rain but there was still the dreadful dark clouds and the loud thunder. Great. Just as she went to return to her Netflix, she spotted a Ford truck sitting outside of the apartment complex. Rumor had it that there was someone new moving in, was this them or just someone who was lost? It wasn't uncommon to see a stopped vehicle outside of the apartments, people often got lost and usually made a turn too early or too late. Maybe she could help them out and get them on their way if they were lost.

Just like that she slipped on a pair of vans already having socks on because of how cold it is this morning, she carried on her way and finally stepped outside instantly regretting not grabbing a sweater or something. As you can tell she's not someone who is fond of cold weather, she hates it honestly and anything under 70 degrees is cold to her. With her brown orbs rested upon the truck before her, she plastered a smile on her face and approached the vehicle. [b]"You lost?" she questioned just as she seen him grabbing the boxes from the back. Her question trailed off quickly as she scrambled for her words. "I mean .. do you need help?"[/fancypost]

    adrianne noel west
nicknames: a, ann. she doesn't have many.
    pet names: addy.
    pronunciation: A-dree-en | NO-ell | w EH s t

    age: twenty four
    birthday: april 25th
    zodiac: taurus
    ethnicity: caucasian
    gender: female

    weight && height: 5'5" && 122 lbs.
body build: as if it wasn't obvious, she does carry a rather petite and slim build.
eye color: a dark shade of brown.
hair type: usually kept longer, a good chunk past her her shoulders and definitely way down her back. it's naturally wavy and somewhat thick but not too thick.
body modifications: left wrist/arm - right side
predominant features: there really isn't much to make her stand out, maybe her tattoos?
fashion style: adrianne is definitely someone you see wearing the usual trending things, but that's as long as she likes it. but honestly her style depends on her mood. if she feels fancy she will wear something nice and rather glam as some may say but she can also be a bum and run in sweats all day without a care in the world. although overall you do see her wearing something more causal like and calm.

key personality traits: observant, adventurous, clever, witty, courageous, stubborn, opinionated, determined, sarcastic, easily discouraged, overthinker, quick tempered.

personality: adrianne is.. different. she doesn't really have a way to describe herself, her personality mostly depends on who you are and how you treat her. if you're someone that treats her with respect then that's how she treats you. she's someone who is very easy to get along with and a very chill person. she's very calm and relaxed around most and has no issue socializing. she's a bit of a social butterfly.

although she can be very sweet and kind, she can also be sarcastic. she sees it as you ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer. she's also very short tempered, she can be happy and fine one minute but then the next can be blowing up in your face. she has worked on this a lot and has made some progress but not nearly as much as she'd like. it does get the best of her at times and she hates it. some people never forgive her when she apologizes and if she would learn to control her anger then she wouldn't have that issue.

she is a very smart girl and is someone who watches people's body language. believe it or not the way someone moves can actually tell you a lot and she notices a lot about a person as she watches the small things about them. like how some people will avoid eye contact if they're lying about something or whatnot. she notices all that. it may seem weird but it helps a lot. but along with all that, she loves to go on little adventurous such as exploring new places or places that have been shut down. she has been caught a time or two but never taken to jail or anything. for that reason she seem a bit daredevilish and sometimes she can really can be. if she's really feeling the mood and the vibe she'll get a bit wild and do something bold or out there and she loves to do things like sky diving.

adrianne is someone who keeps her distance from people emotionally. she's learned the less you get attached, the less you're hurt when people let you down and she's learned that people really can't there for you like they say they are. because of this she doesn't trust others well and usually takes a lot for her to even think of someone as a close friend but oddly enough she is a rather trustworthy person and is always there to listen to someone and give them advice is they want it. although you should beware when it comes to her giving advice, often times it is rather blunt but sometimes people really need to hear the truth.

background: although you wouldn't believe it, adrianne used to be bullied a lot back in middle and part of high school. it wasn't so much because of her looks but people often assumed she was a brat and got everything she wanted when in reality she had to work just like everyone else if she wanted something. just because she comes from a wealthy family doesn't mean she got handed anything and everything. sure sometimes she got spoiled but then again, who didn't? about her sophomore year she got really depressed and had emotionally given up. no matter how hard she tried to prove herself to those at school it just wasn't good enough and no one ever seemed to believe her. it was a rough ride that year, but that's where she met a really close friend of hers. well ex close friend. her name was arianna and they got along very well. things seemed to get beter with her. she taught adrianne not to worry so much about please everyone and proving a point because it wouldn't work. she also taught her how to just move on and step up her game when it came to defending herself. eventually the bullying the stopped but things didn't exactly get better. sure the rest of that year was a smooth ride but then came junior year. adrianne at the time wasn't sure of her sexuality and was rather confused. she found herself finding guys attractive but also girls. one of those girls happened to be her best friend. things got heated between the two and one thing lead to another, but when adrianne wanted to take it a step further and make it an official thing arianna bailed and freaked. then she exposed adrianne for her being attracted to both genders.

of course the bully started up again but wasn't bad and didn't last long. it was a new thing that came and went so believe eventually got over it and just accepted her. sure not everyone was okay with it but they learned to deal with it.

  • Crow stopped upon hearing a voice, didn't sound very far from him and clearly a woman. If they're offering help maybe they work here, he thought. He shrugged it off adjusting his hands under the load of boxes. "If it feels light carry it up to apartment 313 for me could ya." With that said the man walked into the complex, the air was warm and welcoming to him. Crow walked over to the elevator once making sure it was and that it wasn't some wall, hitting the button as the doors slid open. I'm just going to assume it's the third floor, he thought.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 3px white solid; width: 100px; height: 100px; background: url(http://i.imgur.com/6go3LuC.png); background-size: 100%;][/fancypost] [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 3px white solid; width: 100px; height: 100px; background: url(http://i.imgur.com/60kYyQZ.pngE); background-size: 100%;][/fancypost] [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 3px white solid; width: 100px; height: 100px; background: url(http://i.imgur.com/n1JsrL7.jpg); background-size: 100%;][/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 415px; color: black; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 95%; text-align: justify;]If it feels light? What was that supposed to mean? She may be small but you can't judge someone by their appearance. She narrowed her eyes for a brief moment and glanced at the boxes on the truck, she went for a bigger box and tried to lift it but didn't get too far. It was heavier than her causing her to nearly go into the truck as she struggled. She wanted to prove him wrong but it wasn't worth hurting herself so she just huffed and went for two lighter boxes. By the time she had finally got herself adjusted and was ready to head up, she had seen the elevator doors closing. It wasn't a big deal, as most places do this place had a staircase. She didn't really mind going up them besides it was better than worrying that the elevator would break down on her or something. [b]"313."
She whispered to herself and made her way up the steps.

Finally getting to the third floor, she scanned the area looking for the male she had seen just a few minutes ago and it wasn't long before she had rested her eyes upon him. She adjusted the boxes in her hands then carried on her way towards the male. He sure didn't have a second thought about having help, he did realize she wasn't someone who worked here right? She was just trying to do the right thing and be kind. That's what you're supposed to do correct? "Why didn't you bring a couple of friends to help you move?" She questioned while she awaited for the door to be opened. [/fancypost][align=center][size=5pt]TEMPLATE ©BOKEH | #BOKEHFANCY | PREMADE TEMPLATE[/size]

  • Once the elevator doors had opened Crow was quickly greeted by the women asking questions. "Sorry I don't have any friends, even if I did they're all the way in Alaska." With that said, it shed some light on to where he was from. Crow sat the boxes down revealing his face a bit better. His hair was almost a pure jet black with stripes of a darkened blonde from previous hair dye. Upon unlocking the door the air inside was cooler than in the hallway, this apartment hadn't been used for awhile by the looks. Crow just slid the boxes in with his foot, for such heavy boxes they seemed to slide with ease. "I'll make sure to hold the elevator doors open for ya this time," he said taking a hand sliding some stray hair out of his face.

  • Realizing she was wasting her time speaking and trying to keep a conversation going, she just gave a nod of her head and rested the boxes near the boxes he had sat down clearly unsure of where he wanted them. Why did he move all the way from Alaska to here? If it would of been her she would of never left but then again that's her and not him. But why come here out of all the places he could of picked? As much as she wanted to keep quiet and not annoy the guy, she was very curious. She heard his comment about the elevator and shrugged her shoulders. "It's not a big deal, I didn't mind the steps but it would be greatly appreciated." A weak smile on her face as she thought about how she was gonna question him. Eh, why not just be straight forward with it? "Is there a reason you moved all the way out here? Is it because of a girlfriend?" She wasn't sure why she jumped to the conclusion but why else would he? Unless he had family here, but wouldn't he just move in with them?

  • "Ehhh you get stuck in a place like Anchorage for twenty some odd years you want to move somewhere different," he explained. It struck him a bit odd about the last part of her question though he chuckled slightly. "Last time I had a girlfriend I was a freshman in college, so no. I moved here on my own intentions, figured business would be better down here," he explained. Crow held the door open to the elevator, she had a point stairs weren't that bad. But moving in loads of boxes was another story gong up and down a few flights of stairs.

  • She slipped into the elevator nodding her in thanks, listening to what he had to say. Oddly enough he was answering all of her questions and what do you know, she got him to kinda laugh. It wasn't the answer she was wanting but it was still intriguing. Business? What kind of business does he do? "Oh nards, I thought you were gonna say maybe you were on the run from the cops of something." She joked, laughing slightly. Just as she finished laughing, the doors opened again on the elevator. She was quick to get out and make sure the door didn't shut on her. "What kind of business are you planning on doing down here?" She questioned. She thought maybe he was telling her only half the story, maybe there was more behind why he moved but maybe she'd pry into all that later. Once she got to know him a little better ya know? Well that's even if the two spoke again after this.

  • "Well when I was perusing online I swear there was an old blacksmiths shop for sale down here. Figured it was better to have a genuine shop than some makeshift one half åssed in a garage. Besides the price on the shop was great, and the prices for metal down here are astronomically cheaper than up in Anchorage." This revealed alot about the man, that would explain his very well toned body build. Having to work with heavy metals day in and out would keep anyone in shape. "But I won't sweat anymore of the small details, it looks like it's going to rain again and I'd prefer to keep this stuff dry."

  • She had completely forgotten about the storm that was coming till he had mentioned it. Her eyes snapped up to the sky as she nodded in agreement, but how were they gonna get all of it in before it rained? How much stuff did he actually have? "I suggest we move the very important stuff first." She said, as she grabbed three boxes and carefully stacked them on top of each other. "So metal huh?" She questioned, glancing over at him for a moment while she struggled to lift the boxes for a moment but managed to get them in her arms comfortable. "Why didn't you wanna do something else like become a lawyer? Or graphics designer?" She rambled while she worked of course so she wouldn't get fussed at, she moved over towards the elevator doors and waited for him so they could kinda go up together and no one would have to take the stairs.

// we can time skip if you want or need to. ^^

  • OOC: It's fine, adds a bit more character development I think.

IC: "I wanted to be different, besides none of that other junk really called to me like blacksmithing did. Besides I use to be a bank teller back in high school I wasn't much of a people person back then. Besides being your own boss and working whenever you want to has its perks, so my schedule is pretty flexible."

  • [align=center][sub]Junk? Becoming a nurse, a lawyer or even a tattoo artist wasn't junk. Other people had great dreams about becoming one of those and doing something that they loved. Adrianne actually wanted to become an singer, everyone believes she has a talent for it and she likes to think so herself. "Junk? Seriously? It's not junk. You have your interests and others have theirs, but don't call it junk." She muttered rather coldly. How can he say junk? Tattoo artist help people sometimes carry a memory with them forever and hopefully they're good ones, doctors and nurses save lives on the daily, and lawyers help innocent people from going to jail and sending the correct ones where they belong. How they hell can he call that junk? What does a blacksmith do for anyone anymore? This isn't the medieval times, no one needs armor or anything of that sort. "Those jobs you called junk actually help people, but what does yours do? Yours doesn't save lives, yours doesn't help others out. We're not back in the old times. You're job isn't gonna get far." the anger stood out in her voice very clearly. It wasn't so much that she hated what he did or didn't like what he did but it just struck a nerve that he called it junk. He's obviously never had to deal with someone dying or someone facing false charges.

Adrianne knew that the career she wanted wasn't much for helping people, well actually for some it did. There are some people who use it as an escape and sometimes the singers and what they believe in help others keep going. But even if her singing career didn't happen like she wanted, she always had a backup plan. She didn't mind becoming an actress or even better doing something in cosmetology. She's always loved doing her own hair and others.

  • "Wow hey I'm sorry I guess that came out wrong. I just meant that nothing really struck as interesting as. Besides blacksmiths still have there use in these times, farmers look upon us for horse shoes and tools. It's also a former of art, it takes time and hard work to craft something fromore nothing. Nothing really says love like a uniquely forged ring with gems." Crow did sense alot of anger her voice, he didn't mean to cause an trouble. "I don't know maybe your right, but hey you know what they say. If you love your job, than you never have to work a day in your life."

  • [sub]Realizing how terribly rude she was, she felt rather bad for her choice of words especially her last comment. She shouldn't of said it and really should have thought twice about what she said before letting her anger getting the best of her, like it usually did. She was glad that he didn't snap back at her it probably wouldn't of ended all too well for them. She gave a nod of her head, "I suppose you're right." She said, glancing off to the side for a brief moment before looking back at him. "Listen, I'm sorry about what I said. I didn't mean to snap at you, it just kinda struck a nerve and I'm a little short tempered.."

  • Crow gave a small smile, "Forgive and forget, that's what I always say. Don't worry about it, let's just leave it in the past, everyone has there bad moments we are only human after all. Now let's hurry and get these last few boxes," he said walking out towards the truck. At this rate I say the rain will pick up in about half an hour, he thought. The clouds had darkened and thunder clapped from the clouds overhead.

  • It was a bit more than clear that he had a different outlook on life, how he could be so positive about it? Anyone else would of just wanted to her to leave or something but not him. She felt like she shouldn't of even apologized though, he made it seem like there was no need or anything but wasn't it the right thing to do? The clapping thunder caused the brunette to jump slightly as she carried on her towards the truck. "Stupid thunder." She muttered, as she grabbed a couple of boxes. "How can you look so positively on life?" She questioned a few moments later.

  • Crow grabbed the last few boxes out of the bed after locking the truck. "I spent a large majority of my life worrying too much about small things. Honestly it's still a bit of a mystery to me, I just remain optimistic about alot of things. Getting angry over something as small as a small despute isn't worth the stress. Besides don't you know stress leads to hair loss, I'd prefer to keep my hair," he said joking.

  • His comment about the hair made the female stress even more, it was like he was intentionally wanted her to stress more but then again she wasn't even all that stressed out about the small depute the two even had. She just felt like she should have apologized for being so rude. Was he even telling the truth about the whole hair thing? She narrowed her eyes slightly at him, "That's not even true is it?"

  • "No it's true but it's only under high amounts of stress, so your fine. That enough lollygagging let's get a move on," he said. Shifting his hand under the boxes he managed to get a better grip pressing the button calling the elevator. Hmm that's weird I thought she would have been here by now, he thought looking behind him. Sure enough the first few drops had just started to hit the concrete outside. "Well looks like we just got the last load in just in time thanks for the help."

  • She followed behind him but of course a little slower due to the fact she was struggling a little bit trying to get the boxes in a comfortable position. But she did mange and just in time too, just as she reached the elevator it started to rain. She couldn't help but giggle quietly at the thought of it. "It's not a problem, glad I could of helped." She replied. "I'm Adrianne by the way."
