  • Kyo faintly chuckled but stopped hearing the distressed sound from Lucinda. He stayed silent after that.

Luna smiled pleasantly before huffing at Spirit's attitude. "Relax a little..." she sighed quietly.

  • Lucinda looked away a bit embarrassed now,"s-sorry..."

Luca flinched. What did he do wrong? Feeling a bit rejected, he quickly shut up and turned around walking over to Lucinda. He reached up, and aggressively tapped on his Pokeball, until he was able to get back in.

Lucinda froze hearing a pokemon return, she looked down just in time to see Luca return to his pokeball. "T-That's werid...He's never done that before...."

  • Kyo tilted his head. "He hadn't gone into his pokeball on his own before?" he questioned. "Why's that?" he then asked curiously. Luna watched and frowned a tiny bit.

  • "You don't need to apologize. Its my fault. We just met a few ago and I don't even know you that well to be cracking jokes on you." Kekeo looked over at Lucinda pokeball as one of her pokemon returned to it. It didn't take long for her figure out what happened. "You had a riolu as your partner right? Sorry. Spirit must have caused your riolu to return himself to his pokeball. You see, Spirit doesn't like other pokemon who have a type advantage over him since he knows he'll lose when battling them." She then looked over at Spirit before speaking,"Go on and apologize."

Spirit relaxed once Luca returned himself to his pokeball. He looked at his trainer before snorting in her face in stubbornness before trotting a little bit away from the group.

"Stubborn." Kekeo looked back at Lucinda before apologizing again for Spirit and his behavior

  • Lucinda frowned,"He usually doesn't like to be in his Pokeball, unless there is danger, and its best to be in his Pokéball..." She mused. When Kekeo spoke up, she frowned a bit more,"oh...both my pokemon have type advantages....but, Luca won't fight unless agitated, or in a battle..." She mummered softly.

  • Kyo slowly nodded in thought. "Ah...I see..." he mused. "I suppose he's just upset about something..." he then commented. Luna looked at everyone, not exactly sure what to do.

  • "Hmm.... Then Spirit will have to get over his stubbornness and learn how to get along with your pokemon. He's gotten along with two of my pokemon in Aloha-that being two water types- soI don't think it'll be that hard for him two get used to your pokemon" she said, giving Lucinda a bit of a reassuring smile. Kekeo smiled turned into a small frown,"I told him other peoples pokemon won't attack him outside of battle countless time and I bet he knows that but I guess he doesn't trust other pokemon with a type advantage near him" she said with a slight shrug. Her tone grew a bit angrily as she spoke,"I bet Someone said something Rude to him." She said towards Spirit but the ground type did nothing but turn his back towards the group and sat down

  • Lucinda gave a nod,"Ah...well, I know Luca won't fight unless agitated or in battle...but I'm not sure with Chikorita....She barely listens...I'm just not good with grass types I guess," she mused. She looked over to the ground type pokemon, and walked over, taping him slightly, and sticking her hand out like she did with the Wartortle earlier,"hey, I won't hurt you," she cooded slightly,"neither will Luca. I swear in Arceus' name. Neither of us will harm you,"

  • Kyo hummed slightly in thought. What an interesting adventure this was turning out to be. He looked over watching Lucinda interacting with the Alolan pokemon curiously. He wondered how it would work this time around.

  • Zephyrr just watched the conversation, amused a bit by Spirit's attitude. It remembered him of his old rival... In a lesser extend.

His gaze finally detached from the ground type to shift over the group. He looked at Lucinda, trying to soothen the Alolan pokemon.

Judging by earlier, his bets went onto Spirit...

  • "That will be a problem then" she said before trying to figure out how both of their pokemon could get along. Kekeo was so deep in thought, she didn't realize Lucinda was going up to Spirit. "Wait." Of course it was too late. She didn't know why she even bothered to try and stop the other trainer. The tall draft horse pokemon was ready to sort in whoever's face that decided to go up to him and tap his side but refrain from doing so upon seeing the trainer that recently joined the group. Spirit lowered his head a bit and sniffed her hand before snorting in it and turning his head away her. Though he was starting to her-since the girl didn't harm his trainer or friends-,he didn't trust her riolu

  • Luna stretched out before approaching. She sat in front of Spirit and cooed to get his attention before saying anything. "Come on Spirit...Give them a chance..." she said.

  • Lucinda made a pouty face,"oh, maybe latter then? I guess I'll just keep these spare Razz Berries all to myself. Oh, and no need to worry, I already had plenty for Luca and Chikorita ...these are just spares..."She mused with a slight pout, as she turned away from him.

  • Kyo shook his head slightly while watching. Was she seriously trying to convince him to be nice using berries? He...didn't really think that would go all that well from what he's seen of Spirit.

  • Spirit looked down at Luna before speaking,"I'll give them a chance...once they earn my trust." He said this very stubbornly. His ears didn't perk up neither did he give Lucinda a glance when she mentioned the spare berries. "Nice try but I know where to find my own berries" he said, even though he knew the trainers wouldn't understand him.

"Don't worry Lucinda. Spirit just needs time to cool off. Plus, short of trust you" she said with a bit of a smile. "Let's go explore already!" Kekeo was trying to lightening up the mood a little after her pokemon dampened it

  • Luna sighed slightly. "I meant give them a shot to earn your trust..." she said. She then lied down on the ground, not really in the mood to stand anymore.

  • (Lol)
"I know what you mean but for me,they have to earn my trust before anything else happens." Spirit's ears did perk up once the two trainer mentioned exploring but tried to act as he wasn't interested. That is...if any of the other trainers were still watching him

  • (Sorry I'm late! Some studies won't let me breathe...)

Zephyrr lit up at the mention of exploration. "I heard that there was a cave up this route... Mt.Moon that they call it. With maaaany zubats..." Zephyrr wiggled his fingers in a spooky manner, a devilish smirk painted on his face. Sammy whined a bit. "Don't worry, Sam... They're flying-types. You'll destroy them." The Rockruff's mood seemed to have greatly improved to those words.
