    Luna cooed again happily, finding the petting soothing. She looked up and tilted her head at the growling. Kyo observed silently. Luna must trust this person to let her pet her so soon. Meanwhile from inside a different pokeball a pretty feisty pokemon seemed to sense the growling and popped out on his own, the Wartortle approaching and growling back at the Riolu, protective of his teammate. Kyo sighed and picked up the salty turtle. "Don't pick fights..." he lightly scolded the water type.

    Kyo shook his head. "No, it's not your fault. Riptide has a habit of causing trouble." he said. The Wartortle seemed to be snickering mischievously. Luna sat down calmly and looked between the trainers.

    Spirit winced as he was hit once again on his back,his Hp dropping to half. "Hang in there Spirit. Try double kick again." Once his dense rose again,Spirit once again buck the onix on its head/side twice

    Brock's gaze darted to the HP bar as it dropped to about a third. He grit his teeth slightly. "Tackle again!" he said. The dual type grumbled aggressively and attacked once again.

    "Dodge it and use double kick again" she called out. Once again, Spirit was nearly hit by the large pokemon but was able to move through the field with ease. He then when to the boulder snake other side before bucking it twice et again with his heavy hooves

    Brock frowned lightly. The HP bar dropped again. He had to act quickly if he wanted to have a chance of winning. "One more time! Tackle!" he said. The boulder snake growled and aimed for the tackle yet again.

    (Low muse)


    "Keep it up. Counter it with double kick." Spirit waited until the dual type was close before bucking the opposing pokemon with both of his hooves this time

    Brock frowned lightly as the buzzer went off, the giant dual type falling and skidding to a stop. He called it back into its pokeball and pocketed it. He walked across the shaky field and handed her the badge and the TM. "Good job." he praised with a smile.

    "Thanks" she said with a wide smile as Spirit slowly trotted over to her,nuzzling her shoulder once he got to her. Kekeo glanced at the battle field before frowning a bit,"Sorry for wrecking up your field. We can help clean it up after I get Spirit to the pokecenter and get him healed up" she said before so stroking her pokemon neck. She was starting to feel bad about making the battle field a mess and wanted to make it up to the gym leader for ber careless actions. 'Even when I don't mean to be reckless,I'm still reckless' she thought to herself

    Brock chuckled slightly and shook his head. "It's not a problem. This field has broken more times than I can count. It'll be good as new in no time." he said. He was pretty good humored about the gym getting wrecked. He didn't exactly admit to it, but half the time it was when he was training his other six Geodude to use Magnitude in sync. Now that was a mess.

    Lucinda giggled softly,"Luca's just protective of me...either way, I'm Lucinda. I'm from Hoenn, I ended up getting a Chiokria as my starter, because the Professor felt bad that I had gotten sick and couldn't pick up a normal starter for Hoenn, but after that we had to move to Sinnoh,where I got Luca," she gestured to the Riolu on her shoulder," I never really started a Pokemon Journy, since we were always on the move after I hit ten. But, I've decided that I'll try and start a Journey here," she mused.


    Her emerald eyes landed on the Warturtle,"mom is a Pokemon Ranger, that's why we moved so much, after I hit ten, she got stationed in different places," she mused. She gently extended her hand toward the Water Type,"you're a cutie!" She giggled. She faced the Palm of her hand upward, hopefully to show she ment no harm at all.


    Luca continued to sit on his trainer's shoulder, he stopped growling, but gave a very faint glare towards the Warturtle

    A wide smile once again appeared on her face as she felt relieved," Ok. Thanks again" she said leading Spirit out the gym. "We'll be right back guys" she called out to the two male trainers,as if they didn't know already. It took awhile for them to return from the pokecenter but once they did,she popped back into the gym as Spirit was prancing happily a bit behind her,glad for winning his first gym battle. "You guys ready to head to the next gym? Who's this" she asked,seeing the new trainer. Upon see the two new smaller pokemon,Spirit snorted. The mudsdale didn't like other pokemon with type advantages over him since in battle,he would easily lose

    Kyo glanced over hearing Kekeo. "Alright." he answered before turning back to Lucinda. "I'm Kyo from Lavender Town." he introduced. "I don't think I've seen a Chikorita. I suppose never being out of Kanto would explain it." he mused. Luna looked up when Spirit came back and bounced over happily. The Wartortle looked at her for a moment before reaching out and patting her hand. Why? Who knows?

    Lucinda turned her head to see the other Trainer,"I'm Lucinda, and this is Luca," she giggled, before turning her attention back to Kyo Somah,"hm, I've never heard of Lavender Town before...And you'll be able to see Chikorita, if I'm ever in battle...She tends to be...troublesome," she said happily. When the Wartortle touched her hand, she giggled and gripped it gently, and gave it a shake.


    Luca let out a quick,"RRIOL!" At least, that's what the trainers could hear. But he infact said 'you'd better not hurt her!!'

    "Nice to meet you. I'm Kekeo and I'm from the Aloha region" she said with a smile. Spirit calmed down as he saw Luna and smiled a bit as he lowered his head,"You think those two will be coming along with us" he asked,not wanting them to. He didn't want to be on edge about the small fighting type if they did join them,-especially step since he had a wartortle to worry about. Sure, it was a pretty petty concern and it wasn't likely for them to battle since his trainer was friends with the water's type trainer and looked like she was beginning to become friends with the riolu trainer but he didn't care,especially since he was aiming to be safe rather than sorry

    Kyo nodded. "Lavender Town is between Cerulean City and Vermilion City so to get all the badges you'd have to pass through." he said. The Wartortle let her do that before looking at Luca. "Chill, I'm not doing anything." the water type responded, not that the trainers would understand. Luna's ear twitched thoughtfully. "I'm not sure." she answered after a moment. "Anyway your battle was so exciting!" she then said, bouncing excitedly.

    Lucinda nodded her head in understanding,"Ah, that's really cool!" She giggled. She opened her hand up, so if the Water type so chose, could retract its hand


    Luca let out a slightly growl,'I'm just warning you...'

    Spirit smiled more before speaking,"Thanks. Yours was great too. You did really well,especially against that huge onix"
