  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify][font=georgia]Eph was feeling slightly better, but that wasn't saying much.

He could at least walk now without doubling over in crippling pain, but he was still feeling absolutely dreadful. He hadn't even noticed the new change -- his new change. He had practically doubled in size; he had lost all of that baby fat that clung to his frame, and now under his skin was a thick layer of rippling muscle. His paws were no longer too big, and were now just the right size. And this had all happened practically overnight. It appeared he'd just woken up drastically bigger. Of course, he was still too sick to notice. Instead, he was sitting out in camp, watching the dark sky with hazy eyes.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]There was no doubting the fact that Cherviltea was rather concerned as to how Eph happened to be doing. Therefore, it wasn't uncommon to find the collie, wandering around camp in hopes of stumbling across his comrade, perhaps debating as to whether they were faring well after the incident, that replayed itself, prominent in Chervil's mind.

However, as the leader's aureate gaze settled on the other's frame, it took a few moments for him to fully dissolve his abrupt disbelief. He blinked, twice in succession, before quickening his pace and heading towards his friend. "Eph?" Chervil would resound, fictional brows furrowing slightly, as the underlying concern happened to briefly traverse his features, though he'd manage to greet him with a smile, nevertheless, in hopes that such would at least assist in enlightening the other, a little. "Woah, you've grown a lot taller, lately!" Had the growth been steady..? Gradual..? For, if it had, Cherviltea.. couldn't say that he had noticed.
