  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]The green eyed Bengal had seated herself just outside of camp. Her tail was neatly curled around her small paws and her back was straight. She was seated there by herself like she usually was. Unlike most of the others in the clan, she was a distant female and preferred to lurk on the outskirts of things. She rarely made conversations, but when she did, they were very brief. It seemed like being in a clan wasn't much different from the life she carried as a loner despite the fact that she was surrounded by many other felines. There was just no one that really cared for her and really nobody that she had cared enough for at the moment. It was almost lonely, but Ivoryskies could handle it.

Ivoryskies let a sigh escape from her lips as she continued to examine her familiar surroundings in utter silence. There wasn't much for the female to do at the current moment. Sure, she could go hunting or something, but with the long time injury in one of her back legs, it was harder for her to do so unlike the average warrior. Oh, well, for now she would just await for something to happen.

(hope this is alright. it was a little rushed.)

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 95%; color: ;][justify] Roosterteeth struggled in the clan life. People looked at him weird. People treated him differently. People simply didn't trust him. He couldn't tell if it was because of his BloodClan past or his species. Either way, it discouraged the cat greatly. Often, he considered returning to the twolegplace and making it up to his clanmates, but he'd gotten the leaders warning, if he stepped paw back in the territory he would be killed.

Sighing, the abnormally tall serval pushed his way from the gorse tunnel when he practically leaped out of his fur at the sight of Ivoryskies. "Jeeze!" He hissed, ears temporily flattened. "Have you always been there lass?" The wildcat inquired, olive eyes looking over the warrior. He'd exited and entered the camp so many times, but he couldnt quite recall ever seeing her, ever.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]Ivoryskies looked almost as surprised as the serval had when the sound of a sudden voice filled her ears. Her green opals had widen a bit and her heart had sped up only briefly. She, however, remained in her same position as she examined the larger feline. She was a lot smaller than him. He was different in appearance than most of the others, but that's what she found almost intriguing. It was something different for once rather than the same old, same old.

"Not particularly, but I suppose I do relax here often." she responded after a moment or so while her wide eyes softened back down. She continued to study the feline that she had seemingly surprised and the feline who had also surprised her. "I didn't mean to scare you." she added, looking a bit amused.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 95%; color: ;][justify] Cheeks flushing with embarassment, he allowed a smile to play at his lips. "Scare me? Nah lass, ya just surprised me." He lied, taking the opportunity to seat himself across from the warrior. Despite all his time spent with domestic felines, he still couldn't quite get over the major height difference he held. It was uncomforting and made him feel like spilt blood on fresh snow. "Mind if I ask for your name?" Roosterteeth inquired, his smile still gentle on his features.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]"Riiight." The former loner teased as she watched as the serval seated himself in front of her. If she were to be honest, she hadn't quite expected him to actually stick around. Normally, others just casually past her by or so. However, she wasn't really complaining. It was nice to have some company sometimes, "My name is Ivoryskies." she responded, her gaze dulling back down again, "And who must you be?" she inquired, quirking her methodical eyebrows in question.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 95%; color: ;][justify]"Me? I'm called Roosterteeth." He greeted, dipping his head. His olive gaze peered around, curiousity sparkling within their hue. "Not a fan of socializing? Or, just escaping the drama within those walls?" The serval awkwardly joked in attempt to start a conversation. He liked this female, she seemed alittle out of place, like himself. It was refreshing that someone else knew how it was to not grow up in a clan, so they had to try harder than everyone else to fit in. Rooster often found it embarassing when he made mistakes, like the whole clan and their starry ancestors were judging him with every gram in their body.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]"It's a pleasure to meet you, Roosterteeth." the female replied out of politeness as she gazed up at the larger feline she had just met,'"Both." she had responded to his question. It was true. She simply just preferred to keep herself out of the troubles he clan was facing. She just didn't quite fit in like everyone else. "And what brought you out of camp?" she inquired, attempting to keep the conversation going.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 95%; color: ;][justify] Roosterteeth lowered his ears slightly. "Tired of being staired at and whispered about behind my back. Its one thing, being a 'different species', but having a BloodClan past doesnt help much either." The warrior sighed, biting his lip. His olive gaze studied Ivoryskies with heavy curiousity, she seemed different. Like that good different, that made you want to know more.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]Ivoryskies just offered the male before her a slight smile in which felt awkward on her face. Smiling wasn't something she did very often. Who cares if your different? Different is a good thing and I find it rather refreshing, but I suppose I'm not your typical clan feline either." she responded gently, "One thing I've gathered from living in the clan is that most felines here fear or judge the things that they don't understand, but eventually, I'm sure they will come around." she responded, her green eyes continuing to study him.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 95%; color: ;][justify] His ears re-perked at her words. Woah, that sounded really, well, smart. "Do you like it? Being in a clan?" Roosterteeth inquired, sinking down into a laying position so the female didnt have to crane her neck to look at him. It was nice and comforting to be able to talk to someone truely. Everyone either asked 'what are you?' or 'did you eat kittens in BloodClan?' and such. He was heavily judged, especially by ThunderClan's deputy.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]Ivoryskies was silent for a moment as if in thought after what he'd asked her. Did she like being here? Maybe. She, however, couldn't quite say it was a solid yes or no. She didn't have any close relationships in the clan despite being here for a little bit now and was constantly over looked. Though, ThunderClan had provided her many things that were a struggle for her as a loner due to the injury in her back leg.

After a moment of thought, the Bengal female responded to the serval, "In some ways, but in others, not so much. This place provides some benefits, but it also comes with a price." she responded, keeping things simple, "So, what brought you to ThunderClan?" she asked out of curiosity.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=15pt; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 97%; text-align: justify;] — He listened intently, relating to her words. "I was convicted of treason in BloodClan for attacking a clanmate. The leader gave the order for me to be killed on the spot, but I escaped to the forest. I knew they wouldn't follow me here." Roosterteeth explained calmly. "Thats how i got the scar, escaping BloodClan." He added. The large feline left out the fact that he'd actually killed the cat he'd attack, not exactly desiring for her to think of him as a murderer. It's not like he'd wanted to do it, he'd just placed a well aimed blow.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]Ivoryskies calm demeanor never seemed to waver as she listened to Roosterteeth speak. So, he was from BloodClan. No, it didn't really bother her that he was from there, but was a triggering word for many other clan cats. It wasn't often that someone like him was accepted into the group unless they were simply a kit, of course, but she was glad he had been given a chance to take shelter there, "I see." she responded after her had finished speaking, "I'm just glad you got out alive and, of all places you could have gone, came here."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 12px;][justify] his features brightened at her words, and another smile pressed across his face. so this was what it was like, to have a friend? roosterteeth had been that oddball out in the clan, with everyone too uncomfortable or too judgemental to approach him. it was disheartening, but ivoryskies showed neither distain towards himself. it was nice.

olive eyes blinked curiously as they studied the warriors expression before him. "so, you've kinda heard my life story, whats yours?" rooster questioned, intrigued.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 90%;]"Do you mean my entire life story or simply the part where or why I joined ThunderClan?" Ivoryskies inquired as she tipped head to the side, her gaze never wavering from the tom. It had been a long while since she had actually had a decent conversation like the one she was having now. The male before her was the first one to actually give her the time a day. It was nice. Perhaps, from this, she would walk away with an actual friend.
