• [shadow=black, left](So here's the thread! As I already said, I'm making it hidden and invite-only. I'm also going to be using both this account and my Voice one to respond, depending on which one I'm on when I see your response. By the ways, should they "be" the same age that we are too? Just wondering since they are both based off of us. :3)

The brunette hummed softly to herself as she waited for the cars to stop. Their lights turned red after a few minutes of her waiting. With a sight smile, she darted across the street and onto the other side. She had no idea where she was heading yet since she only just arrived in the area. All she knew was that she needed to find clues on what alien threat might be around. It had to be something. The last one was a false alarm, as was the ones before that. She had found some threats and disposed of them in the past. It was just hard to do so without a ship. Not to mention, the human world was kind-of boring her. The wake up, eat, get dressed, go to work, come back, eat again, get dressed once more, sleep, and repeat. How did everyone else do that without losing their minds? If you asked her why she went in search for aliens, she would respond for the excitement and adventure.[/shadow]

  • The Doctor runs out of the TARDIS, loving the air. She hated staying in one place too long, she loved the TARDIS, but she needed the freedom of the world. Charing after aliens, adventure, and danger was her passion and she wasn't about to give that up. So when the TARDIS noticed some unusual activity, the Doctor had jumped at the chance. As she walked around, she noticed humans going about their everyday routines. Bloody boring if you asked her, she needed excitement.

(Of course, they are us after all. :3)

  • [shadow=black, left](Key~. :3 So we're the Chibi Defenders, in a since. Though we're taller than a chibi.... I have literally no idea what I just wrote or what it was intended for! So I'll just leave it up for anyways for the heck of it. XD)

The female walked towards the park. What she knew was that the alien had to do something with water. It probably moved from the area, if it was anything. Picking up the missing pieces about what she was dealing with would benefit her more. She knew all sorts of aliens. Not that she ever saw them all in person. Just the ones that liked Earth very much. That wouldn't mean she would know this one. Besides, she wouldn't know what it would want or where it went until she got something on it.[/shadow]

  • (alrighty then. XD)

The Doctor pulled out her time wimey detector, picking up the unknown species. Whatever it was had a hint of radiation about it. Can't touch this one, nor let it touch as to not get radiation poisoning. She had also picked up where it was located or near it, following the trail. People looked at her like she was nuts, but she didn't cate, she was having adventure.

(You do know how to get to my house, right?)

  • [shadow=black, left](I'm going to keep calling the Writer, the brunette and the female until she introduces herself, aren't I? XD Oh, her human name is the same as I previously created it.)

The brunette had made her way to the lake. Apparently, the area was closed off to the public because of some sort of safety issue. Not really caring, she walked up to one of the officers, pulling out a blank paper. It had worked on every human she had showed it to so far. The problem was that she size she was might make it unbelievable as a government document.[/shadow]

  • The Doctor follows the signal with the detector, finally coming upon a body of water. The officials looked at her strange until she pulls out her paper. It listed her as a fellow official, allowing her to enter. She moves over to the group of people, discreetly pulling out her sonic.

  • [shadow=black, left]They looked at it a bit before they let her go. She continued on her way, going to the group of humans. The brunette pulled out a notepad to copy her observations into. Most of the details came from the humans. Talkative bunch, they usually were. She even talked to a few, asking them questions in attempt to gather new material. Out of luck.

She was about to leave when she saw someone else. They acted a bit different. Especially with that strange stick of theirs that began to glow. This person might be more help than the rest, so she walked up.

'Halo, do you mind telling me what that's for?' The woman gestured to the odd device.[/shadow]

  • The Doctor scans the area, writing down the details coming from the scan. She wasn't getting much from the humans, not that they were helping anyways.
She jumped when a brunette came up to her, quickly pocketing the sonic. "Um...flashlight." The Doctor responded quickly, knowing it was a long stretch since it was daylight.

  • [shadow=black, left]The female chucked lightly. This person in front of her seemed to be a bit childish about it. It might not be that hard to pick through to get to the truth. 'If it was a torch, you wouldn't have hid it like that. So what is it?'[/shadow]

  • The Doctor arched an eyebrow, clearly amused. Whoever this was, was extremely persistent. Shed have to be more clever with her response. "It is a torch/pen. Extremely useful for writing down notes, don't you think?" She asks. "Anyways, are you a detective here?"

    Childish? :3

  • [shadow=black,left]We both are. :3

'I prefer a normal pen. Fancy and small.' She replied before smiling again. The other woman was trying so hard. Best let her think she won, for now. 'I'm flattered! I could be seen as one, but that's not quite me. I'm a free lancing writer. The name's Cloudia Pilar. Friend's in charge of the investigation here and let me in.'[/shadow]

  • [shadow=black, left][tt]'Awesome name, Jane Smith.' Cloudia spoke thoughtfully, repeating the name continusly in her mind. She was bad at remembering names. 'I write a variety of works. Usually, I do mysteries. That's why I said that I could be seen as a detective.' She bit her lower lip lightly. 'I should apologize for distracting you from your job. Good luck with the water. I have to hurry off. Would stay longer, but I have what I need from here.'

  • The Doctor nods, slightly impressed. "Oh, this isnt...I don't work for them." She tries to explain. "I'm...researching a project and this is a perfect example of what I...need." The Doctor finishes. She didn't want to give her the actual description of who and what she was, until Claudia was deemed trustworthy. The only way was with the sonic, and heck she'd already lied about its use. This was going to be difficult.

  • [shadow=black, left][tt]'Oh?' Cloudia asked, in surprise before smiling again. 'I would ask how you got in, though I would like to offer you something of interest. Tell me why you are here and what is it you seek. Maybe we can help one another.'

  • So many questions and none she was willing to be truthful about. She had no idea had to answer, unless... "I'm looking for something and tracked it here with...some help. How I got in is classified, to be perfectly honest." She says, replying. That sounded lame, even to her. She herself wouldn't have bought it. Maybe it was finally time for the truth.

  • [shadow=black, left][tt]Cloudia was intrigued about why this person refused to just say what it was. 'May I ask what this something is? Is it dangerous?' She was entertained, but if they continued to refuse, she would have to leave them to their own work.

  • The Doctor sighed. "An alien creature landed here." She answers, quickly making sure the humans weren't listening in. "I tracked it here and it's something I haven't seen before. Whether it dangerous or not, I've come to find most are exceptions or two." She replies, quickly explaining.

  • [shadow=black, left]'Aliens? As in... outer space?' Cloudia asked, confused. She had to admit, she was pretty good at faking tones in her voice when she needed them. Being what she was, she couldn't just tell anyone that she has dealt and cooperated with other life forms. 'Now that I think of it, I've heard of something like thing, a while back. U.N.I.T having activity about aliens or something. Are you one of them then? Does this one have a connection with the radiation that is see here?' She inwardly smiled. Pretending to be a freelance writer for a century did have it's perks. You could so easily go into the rythym of how they do their jobs.[/shadow]
