The more focused Win is in a fight, the less focused the actual fighting gets? After a while, it's not so clinical and stuff. It flows easily, with a bit of showmanship. Things that aren't just there for practicality. Especially when he's angry. It's an outlet for showing off and he's not usually one for showing off, but... He totally is, at the same time. He's the sort of person to flirt in a fight? Because, again, that's something he's familiar with. But as soon as he's cornered again, he's quiet, anxious, seemingly tired and empty. It depends entirely on how safe he knows he is. This is why his weapons never leave his person, and when they do, he has more concealed. He's got Win's paranoia and Dark's charm.

— Straightens out Bat's fur whenever it's messy and he's allowed. It's an absent-minded sort of thing unless he's nervous, then it's absolutely fidgety.

I'm,,,, Win and Like Real People Do by Hozier. It's him, and I'm really sad now? Just. Fuck. Especially the line "we should just kiss like real people do". Win can't have a normal relationship. That's part of the reason he's drawn to people who can stand up to conflict with him and people that he knows can hurt him. He can't just date someone?? If that makes sense. Asking someone out doesn't sit right with him, and asking him out is too formal. Just fucking kiss him, I guess. He'll get the message well enough. That's why he's drawn to people like he was drawn to Talia? And why his relationship with Percival failed. He doesn't do simple domesticity, not without some outlet for... Everything. He's fine with living together, that sort of thing. But you have to be willing to stand up to him. You have to.
But, on the other side, he tends to fall for people that are softer than him. These relationships are doomed to fail from the start. This was the reason behind his slow build romantic attraction to Maelstrom, at one point. And his sort of first love as a child. It's meant to be a bit of a daydream? Something he's bitter about. MINOR THING, BUT. A friend trying to leave without saying goodbye, only to be met by a friend waiting for them on the border. Just?? This happening to any of my characters??
Win looks way too calm, just watches for a moment, takes a deep breath. "Running away, huh?" Moments later, his goodbye is flat and unceremonious - that's what they were looking for, right? And it's easier than accepting the hurt. He's good at ignoring feelings - he hates it.
Perseus is trying not to shake too badly, because he's always been terrified of being abandoned. So he frowns instead, gets angry and indignant. It only takes thirty seconds for his voice to crack and his tears to spill over. "Did I do something wrong?"
Dark tried to pretend that it doesn't matter, because that's what Win would have done. But Win would have succeeded where he failed, then. They walk away and he stared off to the side and sniffles softly, not in the mood to wipe away his tears.
