    Riiiing!

The last bell of the day had rung and Akuma was among one of the first to get out of his seat to try and make a mad dash to the door so he could run home free to his sisters. Alas, that was but a dream, as Mr. Todd (made that name up on the spot) called his name as he neared the door. "Mr. Baskerville? Stay after class would you?" The kids knew what was coming Akuma's way and some gave him sympathetic looks while others snickered and said that he "deserved it." The boy rolled his eyes, shrugging off his rucksack and tossing it into one of the empty chairs before walking to one of the desks that sat in front of the teacher's podium and leaned back on it, regarding the teacher with an indifferent expression and practically glaring daggers at him. "Sir?" He said, voice coated with sarcasm. Mr. Todd was in his mid-fifties, short and stocky with dark brown hair that was beginning to gray. His face looked squashed, similar to a pig's and it looked as if the man did not have a neck. One word to describe his entire appearance? Fugly. Mr. Todd walked from behind his podium, coming to stand in front of the taller than average black-haired boy with that fake smile on his face. "Today, the principle notified me that you are to attend the Disciplinary Club in hopes it would push you in the right direction and you would become the good boy we know you are." He said as he handed him some sort of envelope.

"What the hell is this?" Akuma asked as he took it from Mr. Todd's hands. The man looked slightly annoyed with the boy's attitude but continued nonetheless. "Your detention slip for the week." He said, smile growing. Akuma had half the mind to spit on his shoes. Mr. Todd did not like him and Akuma knew it. His lips tugged down into a small frown before he turned on his heel and picked up his backpack and slung it over his shoulder. "Don't be late, Mr. Baskerville!"

"Go fxck yourself." Akuma called over his shoulder as he exited the classroom and walked down the halls, trying to find the room where his club would be held in. The dark-haired boy was known for many things, namely his irritable and hot-tempered personality and his rashness and, most of all, his vicious reputation. Most of the people in his grade knew not to mess with him on a bad day or mess with him period. He's gotten into fights and most of his opponents had ended up in the hospital with busted lips, black eyes, broken noses, and broken ribs. He vandalized the school on multiple occasions and had once even taken a teacher's car for a joyride.

Needless to say, Akuma was a bad boy.

He stopped at a door, making sure to read the number plate next to it. F19. Suppressing a groan of irritation, he placed his hand on the handle and hesitated in opening it. Why did he even care about going to this stupid club anyway? This was stupid, putting him in a club with a bunch of other misfits. If they were trying to solve the school's problems, they were doing the exact opposite. He was almost tempted to go and skip this club, but he knew he couldn't as the club was mandatory to attend or else he would get expelled. His sisters tried really hard to get him into this school and he'd be damned if he let them down. Sighing aloud, Akuma opened the door and stepped in. There were a few other students already in there but otherwise, the classroom was vacant. The dark-haired seventeen year old slumped into a seat near the back after tossing down his rucksack carelessly, folding his arms across his chest and sighing out.

♚ Her heart was pounding roughly against her chest. She held her hand up to where her heart was and closed her eyes tightly. She reached the entrance of the door where a man was sitting, looking quite unpleased. She knew he must have had a tough time, but wasn't quite sure what had happened. He always seemed to be so full of zeal, and positive, but seeming him in a way devastated her.

She slipped through the entrance, hesitating for a moment, before slowly closing the gap between herself and the desk. Mr. Todd, as she could see, was organizing papers, before slowly looking up. Surprise gultered his eyes, and the anxiety that coursed through her grew. "Candy?" He asked, frowning slightly. "I expected more from you.."

She looked towards the ground, sinking her teeth into her bottom lip. "Forgive me, it was only out of self-defense," she replied, lifting her head back up. He extended his hand out with a slip between his fingers, and she gently took it away. "Please don't be late.."

Strands of white and red fell into her face as she sauntered over towards the door of F19 where she saw several people sitting around, cursing and prodding at each other, except one individual who was in the back. She paused for a moment, recognizing him as Akuma, the infamous guy that had put others into hospitals. Definitely not somebody she wanted to mess with, that's for sure. She slipped into another spot in the back, clutching her bag tightly. This being her first time was quite traumatizing

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: verdana;]Akuma had sunk into his seat and had one earbud in listening to the music he liked (which surprisingly wasn't alternative rock, but rather acoustic music) and waited for the teacher to come in and start berating them about "being better students" and all that junk. Akuma wouldn't listen, as he knew he was already pretty much set in his ways. And they said that people weren't born evil. "What a load of shxt that is." He muttered to himself, chuckling quietly before he turned his head to look out the window. He could see some students getting into their cars with their friends and driving off either home or to a party and he could see kids walking down the street to their part-time jobs in their fancy restaurants or car insurance places. Akuma did have a job, though it was probably one no one would like to know about.

Hearing the door opening again, he thought it was the teacher. Time to suffer, he had thought but the thought had dissipated almost completely when his golden gaze landed upon Candy. He froze, almost, and his eyes widened a bit but, otherwise, he looked almost apathetic. He calmly took out his earbud and cut off his music, putting his phone into his backpack. The class had somewhat gotten quieter now, probably too busy wondering why someone like Candy was in detention with them. The girl did nothing bad, a near clean slate. He had heard what had happened though. She had bit someone and Akuma had a bit of a laugh hearing that. The person who Candy bit probably deserved it for messing with her.

The red and white haired girl had chosen a seat in the back, like him, a seat across from him. He shifted his gaze, watching her for a moment before he sighed again and leaned forward in his seat. He stared straight ahead now, hands on his desk and drumming a pencil. "So... you bit someone, huh?" He muttered quietly, under his breath to where only she could hear him. "The fxcker probably deserved it; but you shouldn't be in detention. This isn't the place for you." He turned his head slightly, giving her a sideways glance, awaiting for some sort of response before he snickered quietly. "Calm down would you? You're bugging out. This is your first detention, it doesn't go on your record so you don't have to worry about ruining your chance getting into a good college."

♚ Candy's eyes trailed up from her bag towards the window where she saw the darkened windows of other classes. She was still a bit nervous at the moment and hadn't really realized what was going on anymore until the ebony-haired boy who sat across from her began to speak. Everyone had seemed surprised as she sat down and a few eyes were set on her, but she really didn't mind, to be honest.

She glanced over at him, and she clutched the bag a bit tighter. "Why does it bother you?" She asked, her voice cold, unlike normally when it was sift and content. "Also, I'm nit worried about that, I'm worried about the kid, I bit.." she cut herself off before she could finish. "I'm afraid their parents will sue my dad.."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: verdana;]The raven haired teen would lift a brow and roll his eyes, shaking his head as he looked away once more. He had stopped drumming his pencil now. "As if." He said almost defensively, tone biting but his expression didn't seem to match his voice. He seemed somewhat concerned, though it was only a glimmer in his odd gaze and it was rather easy to miss if one didn't concentrate hard enough. "These kids will tear you apart." He muttered. There were eyes upon him now, prying and curious. Some of the other highschoolers were leaned forward in their seats, trying to hear in on the conversation that he and Candy were having. With a strong, neutralizing glare from him, the delinquents had turned around in their seats and resumed their talking with their own cliques.

"Eh? You'll be fine." He wavered his hand casually. It was a surprise he wasn't thrown into jail yet. He vandalized and beat up his peers and put them in hospitals. He's been seen carrying drugs into school and selling them - that was his job, he was in a smuggling ring - and even Akuma himself was somewhat surprised he had not been put behind bars, locked away for whatever many years he'd get from pulling the crap he was pulling.

Akuma sat back against his chair before he looked right at the door. The teacher for the detention class hadn't come yet. Maybe they were caught up in a quick faculty meeting. They always held them at random and on short notices, so the raven-haired boy wouldn't be surprised if that was what was holding their teacher back for so long. He was often in the class before the students even arrived. "Let's go." He said as he grabbed his backpack and slung it across his shoulder, turning towards Candy. "We're ditching this place."

♚ She wanted to scoff and give a sarcastic remark to his statement about the 'children' tearing her apart. If she had it her way, it'd be the other way around. Exhaling quietly, she would cross her arms and look back out the window.

Suddenly, she was taken by surprise as he got up from his seat throwing on his backpack with no care in the world. Her eyes widened a bit more as he told her they were going to go. "No!" She said, her voice cracking a bit. "W-We would get in trouble more.."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: verdana;]Akuma had begun to walk to the window he had sat beside, unlocking it and slipping his hand under to lift it up slightly when he heard her loud protest. He sighed and lifted it up all the way and then climbed onto the window sill, shrugging off his backpack before tossing it out of the window into the bushes below. After seating himself comfortably, he turned to look at Candy and allowed for a smirk to play upon his suave features. "So... let me get this straight..." He turned slightly, eyes narrowing just slightly out of curiosity as he leaned forward, holding onto the frame of the window with one hand as he balanced himself with the other, "You want to serve a detention that you obviously don't deserve? You bit the bastard because it was out of self-defense, did you not? What if later on in life you get framed for something bigger - like, I dunno, capital murder, hm? You know someone else did it but are you just going to serve their life or death sentence? Get killed for something you didn't do?" The other misfits seemingly didn't care about Akuma lingering in the window. He had done this enough times to where they've gotten use to it - why else did one think Akuma had detention all of the time?

The raven-haired male would outstretch his left hand towards Candy, prompting her to make a decision. "I mean... they'll let you off with a warning. As for me -" He made a clicking sound with his tongue, "- I'll just have another week of detention. They wouldn't expel a Baskerville - we have ties here. So, come'on! I'll show you a good time if you come with me."

♚ She seemed a bit shocked by his words, but as much as she hated to admit to, he was right, but most of thise were most likely not going to happen. Maybe they wouldn't do much harm to her if she just left? She inhaled sharply and got up, though stood there in hesitation with her eyes set on his face, before walking forward again and climbing out the window.

"Don't try anything," she said over her shoulder, "I'll bite you too," she added jokingly.

He sat there for a moment as she stood, walking forward towards him and the window. He could tell by the look in her eyes that he had won her over. He smirked faintly, though it was rather minuscule and could be simply mistaken for a twitch of his lips. However, it was plenty obvious that Akuma was pleased with himself. Candy did not take his hand - which was expected - and so he simply lowered it and allowed for her to climb through the window, giving a low chuckle when she joked. "No promises." He had said softly when she had dropped out of the window before he followed her out, landing next to her, hands in his pocket. He turned and walked towards the bushes that were directly under the window and fished out his backpack, wiping the stickily leaves that had clung themselves onto it. After he had gotten the dirt and leaves out of it, he turned back to Candy and walked back towards her and put on his rucksack once more.

"Mm... So, where to?" He wondered aloud as he dug out the keys to his vehicle. It wasn't a car, no, no... it was a motorcycle. It had been a gift from his parents before they "disappeared." He blinked down at Candy, whom he had just learned is much shorter than him, and lifted an eyebrow as if waiting for her answer.

Candy hadn't realized how stupid she had felt until they both had reached the edge of the road, and mentally scolded herself for the act. Remember Candy, this is only one day, she thought. She then realized the soft white mist that rose up from her lips with each breath she took. "How about my place?" She asked, "I don't think my father is there today.."

    [hr]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: verdana;]Akuma was moderately surprised by her answer though he played it off with a suggestive smirk playing upon his face now as he leaned down, head tilting just slightly to the right as he brought out the keys to his motorcycle and swung it around on his index finger, which he had wagged at Candy. "Naughty, naughty~ Taking a boy home when your father isn't there!" He berated in jest before he stood up straight again, chuckling again as he reached out to grasp her hand and pull her after him as they crossed the road to where he had parked his motorcycle. They didn't allow them on campus for some really odd and stupid reason, so he had to park it further down the road. It wasn't a long walk though. Akuma looked over at Candy, blinking as he thought. So, she was going to take him to her place? Usually, it was the other way around but he had hoped to at least make a couple city rounds before visiting her home. Ah, well, whatever the lady wanted, he supposed. He wasn't a brute. He was a delinquent with manners.

Soon they came walking up upon a sleek black and yellow motorcycle - yes, Akuma liked black quite a lot - and he motioned for her to get onto it with a waver of his hand. After she had gotten on, he'd slip into the seat as well in front of her, whistling casually as he inserted his keys into the ignition and twisted. He leaned back a little, grasping the helmet that was on the side. He only had one, so he passed it behind him. "Put it on, alright? I don't want to go to jail for involuntary vehicular manslaughter." Akuma had said, before he smirked again, "And hang on tight, hm?"

Her pale face flushed a odd cream and she quickly hid it before he could see. That pervert! Who did he think he was? She bared her teeth at him slightly, but was caught off guard as he grasped her hand carrying her over a couple of meters away from where they once stood.

Her thoughts of earlier were soon cut off as she gazed upon the vehicle, and a frown managed to pull at the corners of her lips. "My house is just down a few blocks from here," she explained, a small smirk now plating at her lips. "I thought everyone knew that."

Akuma would have laughed if he saw her blush but, of course, he didn't as he was too focused on getting them across the street without getting hit by any cars. The raven-haired boy would lift his brow at the white and red haired girl as he sat in his seat, kicking up the foot gear shift and squeezing the hand clutch and revving the motorcycle loudly. "I can't leave my motorcycle here. They'll know we've gone off." He said, shaking his head slightly before he patted the empty seat behind him. "And apparently not everyone. I don't know where you live. Hell, you could've lived five miles from here for all I know. Now hop on. The more we linger around the campus, the more we risk getting caught easier." Akuma would say impatiently, huffing. The real reason was because he was lazy and he didn't like walking though of course the Baskerville wouldn't admit that nor would he ever.

♚ She chuckled slightly and sat on the seat behind him, and once she did, she slid the helmet on and set her chin on his shoulder while her slender arms snaked playfully around his waist. "Everyone has seen me walk in the direction of my house," she replied, "so I guessed everyone did," she would then add, and her eyes rounded a bit. How come he was so surprisingly warm?

He allowed for an easy grin to slip onto his features as Candy got on the motorcycle, sliding into the seat behind him. He waited for her to put on his helmet, though was rather pleasantly surprised that she had placed her chin on his shoulder. He turned his head slightly to look at her, and he felt her arms wrap around him. A short huff left him as he turned his head again, looking straight with an very minuscule blush dusting his pale cheeks. He liked to talk dirty but whenever shxt actually happened, he'd blush like a tomato. He wouldn't let her see him like this. Hearing her reply though caused him to chuckle briefly. "Hm. I live on the other side of town..." He remarked. He lived by himself. His sisters Jiyu and Lacie didn't stay with him. They were out doing their own things but they'd visit him occasionally, so he couldn't say he was completely estranged from his family.

Unaware of her thoughts about how warm he was (he would've made a rather dirty joke if she had said anything about it) he once again revved and then accelerated, turning and heading down the block at an otherwise leisurely pace for a motorcycle. "So, you said just down a few blocks, huh?" He questioned her over the sound of the motorcycle's engine, watching carefully for any cars and whatnot.

( oml that sounds great. she could be his childhood friend that he eventually forgot about because family problems (to put it lightly). learning this, akuma would be all like 'ah shxt, i flirted with my childhood friend. fxck' )

She had managed to catch the blush that dusted his cheeks and a small smirk managed to creep onto her face, but as fast as it came, it had left. She wouldn't do much of anything to him, mostly because she was scared of course, plus, she was still in school, would she have really given her life up like that?

"On the other side of town," she whispered, noting that fact before nodding. She hadnt noticed then, but she was actually nuzzling into the crook of his neck. He was so warm, and she felt like an ice cube, "yeah, a big blue house, you can't miss it.." she murmured.

Akuma had pulled up to a red stop sign, signaling they had covered an whole block. He sat, one foot on the ground to make sure they wouldn't tip over as he thought for a moment. If Candy hadn't been in detention with him, he didn't think he would be doing this, taking the girl home. Usually, he'd go out by himself and ride his motorcycle around town and cause mayhem about the city, vandalizing property and whatnot and doing "business" as he liked to call it. It was shady and only very few students in the school knew about what he did. In a way, Candy was keeping him off the street. He wondered how long it was going to stay like that.

Akuma had heard her whisper, echoing him while simultaneously nuzzling into the crook of his neck. It had caused the raven-haired male to tense up a bit, having not gone this far with a girl before (surprisingly). A small smile graced his features briefly before it disappeared. He looked over at her briefly, nodding slightly when she told him what color house she lived in. A big blue house... When Akuma saw the opportunity to head on, that was what he did. It didn't take long like he had predicted and pretty soon they were driving up the driveway to the large blue house.

"Damn. Talk about fancy." He said as he stopped and kicked the foot gear down and allowed it to settle, putting his own two feet on the ground. "I hope you ain't sleep dollface, otherwise... I might have to carry you in myself." He snickered, back to his usual perverted ways.

Candy had fome to a realization at how close they had been as she nuzzled into his neck, but then, something else, a memory of some kind had come alive. The warmth and the golden eyes were all still familiar not to mention the locks of ebony hair.. She had seen him somewhere before, but where?

"It's not that fancy," she retorted, falling in beside him. She slowly pulled off the helmet and ran her fingers slowly through her hair, smiling slightly to fund out she had not knots in it. "C'mon," she said, walking towards the large house.

Akuma hadn't known why and he had just shrugged it off for the longest, but Candy made him feel weirdly. It was an feeling that was foreign and he had previously felt this with someone else, but he hadn't known what it was back then. It was something akin to a sense of familiarity but something a bit more. Originally, he thought it was just him and so he had learned to push away the feeling whenever it arrived but Candy was somewhat different. This strange bond... it felt like it was an old bond being rekindled. Akuma rolled his shoulders back, Candy's voice drawing him from his thoughts. He blinked over at her as she climbed off the motorcycle and retorted to his earlier comment. His easy smile had reappeared on his face again. He took the helmet from her hands and placed it on the seat as he got up, pulling his keys from the ignition and placing it within his pockets. He heard her beckon him and he came sauntering up beside her as they walked towards the large house.

Akuma only had an apartment for himself. His wasn't an actual house like the one he had lived in when he was still living with his mother and father and his two sisters. Well... they hadn't been living in a house like Candy's. It was small compared to what he used to live in, an estate. "So... your dad... who is he? Some kind of lawyer or something? Real estate agent? Is he in the military, working for the Army?" They were all serious questions, and genuine curiosity shone in his gold gaze as he drew his long fingers through his soft black hair and pushed it back, expertly using one of his rubber bands to tie it back.

♚ Candy walked along side him, tapping her fingers together nervously. She was still was a bit anxious with the fact that she had left the school without attending detention, but at least this was better then having more schoolwork on top of homework being piled on you.

She set her hands at her sides and gazed back up at him a weak smile managing to pull at the corners of her lips. "He's a general in the military," she replied, opening the door up with a soft exhale. "He won't be back for a while, so I'm glad I have some company, even if it is.." she paused and aimed to gently poke him in the shoulder, "a pervert like you."
