  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify][font=georgia]Eph hadn't been about for a long time. In that bout of inactivity, he had learned a lot more about WindClan. But there was still so much more he had to figure out. He only had the basics down, but that was far more than he knew upon joining. And during that time, he had grown. A lot. He was less childish and silly, and more serious. Of course, he wasn't all business. In fact, he was still rather fun. Just less immature.

"Um, hello." He called out into camp, a sheepish grin on his face. His voice had lowered a few octaves. He didn't think anything of it; maybe he had just gone through a growth spurt. "I'm holding a second meet and greet over here, since I haven't been around lately." He said, taking a seat. His dark fur was in a wild disarray, but he didn't care. It looked good on him, anyway.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.2]"You haven't forgotten me, have you?" Batpup makes a sound again, that low and familiar tutting that errs on this side of disapproval — Ephemeris is right, he certainly hasn't been around for a while, but that doesn't mean that he can't redeem himself. Batpup'll just go on believing that the break was a necessity, and do his damnedest to think of anything other than the apprentice getting himself stuck somewhere. Maybe he tripped over his oversized feet and fell in a hole? Mm, perhaps, but the feline looks.. different to Batpup. A little older, in a strange way. He can't explain it.

The pup settles himself down nearby, tugging on the hood of his cloak. "Where did you go?"

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify][font=georgia]At the sound of another approaching, Eph's smile grew less sheepish and more giddy. He recognized the cloak-donned canine immediately; he didn't know many in WindClan, but the ones he did know were hard to forget. "Course not!" He chirruped. A name as interesting as his, it wasn't going to escape his mind. He still didn't quite get the whole clan name thing. And Batpup's especially. A bat couldn't be a dog, right? He'd seen some strange creatures in his time here, but certainly not a bat-dog.

"Trying to get a feel for clan-life, I guess. I got busy." He laughed with a shrug. He'd been too busy doing research on WindClan; the ranks, the history, the territory, the everything. It was a lot of information, but he was slowly getting the hang of living in a clan. "What did I miss?" He asked with a toothy grin.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Ephemeris - yeah, the collie remembered the other. For some reason, it seemed hard to forget them, though Chervil couldn't quite pin-point as to why, it seemed. Maybe he simply.. stood out? Either way, it was good to see the other around, once again, though it wasn't as if they had disappeared for an exceedingly long amount of time, either. "Hey, Ephemeris! How've you been?" The deputy would opt to greet, and inquire, as he made his way over.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.2]Well, in terms of names, he could easily return Ephemeris' sentiment — he doesn't much understand the cat's name, either. He understands the meaning of the word, but in senses of a name, it.. doesn't make sense to him. Truthfully, his own name was a bit of an anomaly in his old home, but his mother deemed it appropriate, for whatever reason, and Batpup never argued. He's grown proud of his name, besides. It reminds him of hope.

The canine tilts his head in a physical indication of thought. "Not much." he says after a moment. "A raid, a few captures—" here, his expression darkens physically— "but nothing else seems out of the ordinary." As Cherviltea approaches, the pup offers a brief nod, tail tucking in against his haunches.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:425px;text-align:justify;font-size:10pt;line-height:1.5;][font=timesnewroman]Ah yes, Ephemeris. Praguespring had been present during the last meet-and-greet Ephemeris had mentioned now, although admittedly the WindClan leader had since forgotten his name since their previous encounter had been so brief. Fortunately Cherviltea had addressed the tabby by his name and Praguespring would not have to reveal that he did not remember Ephemeris's name. Hopefully, he would be seeing a lot more of the young apprentice around WindClan. "I'm Praguespring j-just in case you f-forgot," the large Siberian tiger spoke up, taking a seat near Batpup and Cherviltea. "How a-are you feeling?" Ephemeris seemed like the quiet type, but he was also proving to be quite friendly. Perhaps Praguespring would get a better grasp of his nature with time.

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify][font=georgia]Eph grinned at Chervil as he came over. "I'm good!" He chirped. "Still a little confused about this whole clan-thing, but I'm getting used to it." He admitted with another sheepish grin. As Batpup spoke again he nodded. He was glad he'd missed the raids -- he was utterly hopeless when it came to fighting. He couldn't even beat himself up. Still, he was thankful he hadn't missed anything of importance. He then turned to face Praguespring as the stuttering leader approached. How could he have forgotten his name? He was the ruler of the group he currently resided it -- it would be embarrassing if he didn't remember. At his query, he grinned again. "Feeling great, sir! What about you?" Should he be more formal? He wasn't sure. Prague seemed rather casual, so maybe he should follow? Ah, this was all so confusing.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]As Batpup's gaze pivoted towards him, followed briefly by a nod, the collie blinked in faint surprise - though he supposed such was wrong of him, seeing as the other usually tended to acknowledge him, even if they didn't seem the type to fancy themselves with greetings - such brought a slight smile to his maw, and he'd offer a nod towards the other, also, in response.

His aureate orbs would then return to Ephemeris, listening as he explained the fact that he hadn't yet gotten the hang of the clan-system yet, and Chervil could understand that. "Well, if you have any questions, then I'd be happy to help where I can." He'd assure the other, with an enlightened smile. "I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually." Just as he had done, when he had joined Windclan.
