prison of the unnatural - private - plotting thread

    hello everyone and welcome to "orange is the new black but with demons" how are you all doing today


    anyway. so. we need some prison workers, a better idea of what the prison is, and some cool plot points. let's do this.


    maybe since the prison is for people who are just kind of not able to be in human society its a bit nicer? or maybe all supernatural creatures are regulated by the government and these people broke the rules for what a creature is allowed to do so they were put in prison.[/justify]

    Yeah, I was thinking this is half community, half prison. Like they give the supernaturals an option, to make an enemy of the human race, or come to this island where they can do what they want. I was thinking the island can have a wall around it, and that's the only thing that's actually guarded unless cells are required to keep you contained at night (Shi xD)


    Some characters who are on the island may have other reasons for being there on the island, like my character who agreed to go to the island after his home was destroyed by the Goddess and he made a deal with the government, them housing his family and paying for their expenses whilst he went to the island, to be used as a weapon if needed.


    Also I was thinking that the supernaturals have their own community on the island. They are free to build unless close to the walls, however there is already shelter provided. They could even have their own small council if we wanted, which makes rules up to keep all hell from breaking loose.


    If we did this though, the island would have to be much bigger than it seems to be now xD

    I can draw a map if you guys give me the layout.
    Also I'm not so sure one them building a community, but I like the idea of them just living here because the government had bargained or took them, and it's like a small place where.... Nevermind I don't know where I was going with that.

    [justify]maybe its somewhere in between. like its kind of small but there are like small roads and small shops and prisoners can work places or something but they're still guarded 24/7 and they live in a kind of prison/apartment building thing. on this other thread i'm on w supernatural creatures they're organized according to danger level so maybe we do that for these people too?


    i was thinking it might look kind of like a roman legionary fort.

    A small place where the humans except the fact that all hell will break loose? Yeah xD


    Hmm, large, with the walls all around it. On the walls could be mounted turrets and towers that can fire both onto the island in case people try to escape, and out of the island, in case anyone tries to rescue them. The island can have lets say a mountain to its north, maybe at the base of it (maybe to the west of it?) there is the small community homes, and a bit further to the east the solitary confinement cells where those who need to be watched at night go to in the evenings. I was thinking the island could be covered in forest or jungle, and the top of the mountain could be tipped with snow on occasions, for those creatures who prefer the cold. They could also have a few wide rage sensors spread out across the island, so that they can keep track of all prisoners wherever they are on the island (maybe they can be chipped?)


    Don't know how you'd create that however xD

    I like the idea of them being based on danger levels, while some of the Unnatural beings there have their cells adjusted if they are night creatures or something like that. Like I plan on making a Vibora character who isn't as active at night, so it be something like a regular apartment/cell.


    Also map shall be made soon.

    Haha, yeah xD Also I was thinking the islands walls could have an entrance, that could lead to a place that nobody even knew existed, and there could be an extremely powerful being trapped there.

    [justify]oooo yes!! thats a cool idea. powerful beings are always fun. they should be like final boss-esque. or they could offer to make deals to people who want them. like kind of either your friend or your enemy. [/justify]

    Exactly what I was thinking, that loads of mini plots happen, and they slowly find the powerful being, just to realise that they should never have found it as t is extremely dangerous, and out of control ;3


    So, what's the plan of action now?

    Starting on the thread now. I've so far introduced different levels of beings, and what restrictions each level is provided with, and explained the purpose of the island ;P Hopefully I will be done with it later ;)
