    [color=black][font=tahoma]Tokens are SunClan's currency system that works in tandem with their system of shops. Members can earn tokens through completing tasks, winning contests, or selling items in shops to then buy with or give to others as gifts. Anyone is free to open a shop and sell whatever they'd like.     [color=black][font=tahoma]Tokens are small, wooden coins with an engraved SunClan emblem that are used as a currency system in SunClan. Every character is allowed to get 5 starter tokens, and the rest must be earned through completing various tasks, as prizes in contests/events, or through in-game exchange and interaction. All tasks that characters may earn tokens from completing are listed below in the second post. Tokens, once earned, are then used to be spent in shops or even given to other members as gifts. They are SunClan’s currency, after all, and are used for buying and selling. The token system is self-managed, meaning members are free to award themselves tokens when they complete tasks rather than high positions or such having to hand them out accordingly. However, members participating in the token system are required to create a token tracker to record all transactions and their current balance with proof of all tokens earned. While the token currency largely depends on an honor system, trackers may be randomly checked to prevent cheating. And example of a token tracker would be here.[/fancypost]

    [color=black][font=tahoma]Shops are where tokens are most often spent as well as earned. Any member of SunClan is allowed to own and operate a shop, and may sell whatever goods or services they can imagine. Shops do also have an OOC aspect as well to encourage buying and spending in that members will often offer art, graphics of any kind, text banners, or (again) whatever roleplayers can think of to sell alongside whatever characters sell ICly. There are no real requirements for what shops must be or who can create one and characters/roleplayers may set their own rules and prices in tokens, all that is truly necessary is a thread with the character hosting their shop. A full list of SunClan shops is below, as is means to register a shop of one’s own.

    [font=tahoma]As stated before, there are multiple ways to earn tokens. Sometimes they may be offered as prizes in events/contests or earned through shops and even given as gifts, however the main method of earning them is through tasks. Members can award themselves tokens after completing a task, but must record it in their token tracker with proof as well.


    TASKS Tasks CAN be done multiple times, and completed whenever you want, although one thread may only be turned in as one task even if it fits into two categories (e.g. your weekly task is to lead a raid). On the other hand, if you make 20 different posts in a raid, you can turn it in four times. This list is always updating, so be sure to check back for more options! If you have any ideas for suggestions or additions, feel free to state them as well.


    (1) Create an ask thread (and/or) ask.fm for your character
    (1) Create a heartchart (and/or) opinions thread for your character
    (1) Create a plotting thread for your character
    (1) Create a journal/video diary/etc. for your character
    (1) Give a gift to an allied clan
    (1) Post 5 times in an event of any kind (small or large)
    (2) Post 5 times in an event with allies
    (2) Post 5 times in a raid or battle
    (2) Suggest an idea
    (2) Complete a weekly task
    (2) Pull a prank/create some mischief in an enemy clan
    (2) Create a small event (note: a small event is any event that doesn't require a higher-up’s permission, like a patrol, game, sparring, etc.)
    (3) Complete a short-term character arc or plot (under 5 threads)
    (3) Create a large event (note: a large is event is any event requiring a higher-up’s permission, like a party, badge event, etc.)
    (3) Lead a raid (note: requires permission)
    (3) Write a oneshot (about anything)
    (4) Create an event with allies
    (5) Complete a long short-term character arc or plot (5 or more threads)
    (5) Complete any prompt
