~This Pytheran has hatched! It's a Snow Pytheran. These arctic dwelling snakes thrive in the cold harsh climates. They cannot survive in warm climates and die if not kept cold enough. Scientists are not sure how they have adapted to such an environment. They are cold to the touch but their venom is fairly strong but not strong enough to kill larger animals.

The history:

Off the coast of a large continent, there lies an island, covered in miles of trees, with beautiful beaches and a large mountain. However, the land was at war. Cats had banded together into small little groups, bigger than family groups but not large enough to become clans. Out of those, three rose to power and were at constant war at each other. The first only allowed females to join, and was lead by the sly, intelligent Ravenstar, whose quick wits had saved her clan from many disastrous situations.
The second only allowed males to join, and was lead by the brave Crowstar, who fought fiercely and courageously, and would lay down his life for his clan.
The third was lead by Shadownight, who refused to take the suffix of -star, and not much was known about them, but it was rumored they rose to power through poisons, strategically placed spies and assassins, and the cruel ways he extracted information from his prisoners. Over time, he became more and more powerful, his clan growing larger and larger as he took over smaller ones.

Meanwhile, Ravenstar and Crowstar's clans had been running out of kits, and Shadownight was slowly becoming more and more of a threat. They decided to band together to overthrow him, and what was at first a reluctant alliance bloomed into FreedomClan. They were visited by StarClan, and with their guidance, they defeated Shadownight and his clan together, and gained control of the whole island, ushering in a new era of peace, innovation and a strong, cult-like belief in StarClan.

FreedomClan resides on a island with dense forests and an extent volcano in the middle. Beaches stretch along the east of the island, but tall cliffs face the west, making it difficult for others coming from the mainland to find a space to land their ship, unless they wish to waste time going all the way around the island, essentially leaving the animals there untouched by other cultures and traditions.

In the crater of the volcano, there's a large lake. This is the only freshwater source on the island, so FreedomClanners learn from an early age how important it is. A river flows from it and off the cliffs in a beautiful waterfall and into the ocean. Their came is situated not far from the foot of the mountain and close to the river, but away from the dangerous cliffs.

To the east of their home lies the peak of an underwater mountain which forms another, smaller island nicknamed 'Moon Island.' It is difficult to access, and it is rumored that ghosts of the past haunt it. A thin sheet of snow covers the top of it, and at the very top lies an entrance to a system of tunnels that leads to the Moonstone, which FreedomClan uses to contact their ancestors.
