[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12px; color: #f1f1f1; text-transform: lowercase; text-align:justify;]The reporter glances in, trepidation clear on her face. In the left corner, an obese girl is extending her leg on the barre. A mix of latino and Asian-americans are participating in a hiphop routine lead by a European instructor. The autistic, the minority, the challenged, the impoverished, all are welcome.
"But... are they good?" She asks, turning back to her tour guide. The dance instructor smiles, understanding her speechlessness.
"No one gets into Chanly Dance Academy, Madam, unless they are good. You should come back. Do a follow up article on the concert we have coming up." Still stuck for words, her eyes widened as if they were about to fall out, the reporter shook her head, unsure.
"No one would believe us. Trouble kids, like yours - pardon me saying - dancing? Well done, sir, keep it up, but I must be off."
That's how it always went.

Chanly is a low funded dance studio. It extends from three o'clock to six o'clock every school day - transport available to be arranged. It's an outlet. Instructors, often disadvantaged themselves or foreign students, help all scholarship students in a range of dance mediums. Ballet, contemporary, hip hop, irish, ballroom and breakdance to name a few. You are one of these students. Many people see you as lesser, because of some trait. Disabilities, disorders, behaviour, race. Shunned by much of the world, yet you are welcomed here.
