  • Axel smiled softly as Michael slid back into his silence, getting used to it so he didn't mind it too much. He swallowed thickly as he heard the shaky exhale coming from the male, looking away momentarily before settling back down on the bed to continue reading. "You do need to keep eating." He commented lightly as he opened up his book, glancing over at Michael, liking how cute the male was but it worried him with how frail and skinny he was.

  • Michael observed the male quietly, his brows furrowed forward. He simply shrugged his shoulders as Axel spoke, not caring too much about eating. Michael had been skinny for years. He was t exactly skin and bones; he was tall, packing just enough muscle for an average younger man. There were faint outlines and indentations where his muscles were, and when he moved they rippled, but he wasn't burly like some of the men in camp, or even like Axel. He was a gentle person; there was no need for muscle.

  • Axel saw the shrug and the furrowed brows but stayed quiet, shifting his weight as he turned his attention back to his book. He enjoyed the peace and quiet, though they could hear the men shouting to one another and the clanging of metal against metal as they practiced and trained for the upcoming battle. Axel felt slightly bitter that he couldn't be in the battle, but then he remembered that Michael most likely knew the men and women at the castle.

  • Michael stiffened beneath his blanket as he heard the swords and shouts, visibly discomforted. Being a nonviolent person, any sort of fighting or altercation had a negative connotation, that ultimately scared him. Especially because his family resided in the kingdom. He didn't want to see any of them hurt; not any of his subjects. knowing that he could do nothing about it made it worse. He remained rigid, setting his jaw tightly.

  • Axel let out a little sigh, pressing his lips together as he glanced over at Michael. "You're safer here than at the castle. " He said as he saw that the male was rigid and tense, guessing he didn't exactly like that there was violence around him. Or any at all, maybe? Hr frowned a little, trying to focus on his book as he let out a little sigh before closing the book to rest on his back.

  • Michael heard his words but didn't seem to listen too closely, staying exactly as he was. He swallowed hard, mind racing as the noises continued. He didn't understand how people could live with violence, love it, even. It seemed so... unnecessary. He'd always grown up knowing the importance of being gentle and level headed, and he was so distant from violence that any display of it just scared the life out of him. He didn't understand it.

  • "Sorry if it bothers you. That's camp life for you." Axel sighed softly as he listened to the shouting and clanging of metal, clearing his throat slightly as he remembered what Michael had said only a few minutes ago. He looked away, forcing back the blush that was threatening as he rubbed his eyes tiredly.

  • Michael simply closed his eyes and furrowed his brows forward, swallowing hard. He'd have to ignor it, he knew he would. He remained quiet, trying to think of ways to distract himself. Tell himself stories? Sing to himself in his head? Or even just move on his side to look at Axel? The latter seemed much simpler, so he shifted on his side, careful not to hurt the wound on his chest. he cast his gaze over to Axel, examining his features much more thoroughly. Every scar, freckle, dimple, anything. For some reason Michael wanted to know all of him, wanted to know things he liked and disliked, wanted to know his favorite books and animals. He was drawn in by this man, and he didn't even know why.

  • Axel closed his eyes to rest for the moment, since it had been so cold that he had been waking up all night rather than sleeping deeply like normal. He was dozing but he could hear Michael moving around, his chest rising and falling slowly, with his shirt slightly twisted up from moving around, so a bit of a deep scar could be seen on his hip, trailing up to his back. "You're staring again.. I can feel it." Axel spoke up lightly, his eye cracking open.

  • Michael didn't speak for a moment, his eyes tracing the scar with blatant curiosity. He wondered how Axel got it. From a battle, most likely. He was deep in thought before Axel spoke, snapping him out of his little trance. He spoke, his voice soft and punctuated. "I am," he murmured, furrowing his brows. He didn't say anything after that, his eyes continuing to shift over the other male's body calmly. There was so much to examine, so much muscle, so much beauty. Michael didn't know where to begin.

  • Axel felt a little shy as Michael didn't deny it, pressing his lips together and gazed over at him as he watched his eyes wander over his body, shifting his weight a little, muscles rippling and flexing with the simplest movement. "Why?" He rumbled softly, his throat bobbing a little as he swallowed thickly, wanting to know exactly why it felt like he was being examined, by the Prince nonetheless.

  • The young prince didn't speak for a moment, simply taking in the sight before him. Axel, throat bobbing, staring at him in curiosity. Beautiful; Axel was beautiful. "It's distracting," he finally replied, softly. "I'm so busy looking at you everything else stops existing." He didn't quite realize the depth of his words until he spoke them, but they were true; looking at Axel made everything else disappear.

  • Axel looked over at the Prince with his eyebrows raising, shocked the male would say something like that, and again got embarrassed as his cheeks colored a faint pink. He sat up a bit, tilting his head and pushing his hair out of his face slowly. "You really have no idea how that makes me feel, Michael.." He hummed quietly, a little shy since no male had ever paid attention to him like the Prince was, his heart throbbing in his chest.

  • Michael was curious now. "Hm?" He inquired, watching the other male calmly. He wondered, exactly, how it did make him feel. Perhaps Axel felt the same way about other men as Michael did. The thought made his heart skip a beat. He liked this man, unconventionally. It was rather odd. Michael kept his eyes on the other man, wondering silently what he would do next. It seemed they had locked gazes, and Michael certainly wasn't looking away first.

//so sorry about my inactivity! I had a really rough weekend and I'm preparing for my finals and it's a mess I'm sorry

  • Axel felt his cheeks deepen even further into a blush at Michael's inquisitiveness, since he wasn't used to getting so much attention from a fairly attractive male. He sat up fully, only a few feet from Michael now as he swallowed with slight difficulty. "I..." Axel trailed off as they locked gazes, his eyes dilating slightly as his heart thudded in his chest, taking in a deep breath. He didn't want to scare the male away, although he would have nowhere to go but Axel felt different about him. "May... May I kiss you?" Axel practically whispered, pushing his short hair out of his face as his heart thudded in his chest wildly.

OOC: No worries! I totally understand about finals. And get some rest if you need it, don't worry too much about the thread ^^

  • //thank you!! I genuinely enjoy this thread so I'll try to post as much as possible!

Michael's breath caught in his throat as Axel drew closer, his breath shaking with each exhale. His hands trembled lightly, but not quite in a bad way. His heart was racing, and he couldn't help but cast his gaze down to Axel's lips as he asked the question, the words ringing in his ears. For a moment he couldn't speak, his answer repeating in his head as he struggled to get it out. Please, he thought, please kiss me. Finally, after moments of struggling he finally let out his answer, barely audible. "Please," he finally breathed, mouth parted ever so slightly as the word escaped his lips.

  • OOC: Of course! Just make sure to study for those finals ^^ I like this thread as well, so absolutely no pressure to respond!

Axel's throat bobbed and his heart nearly leaped out of his chest as he could see his closeness was affecting Michael, his hands clenched into tight fists as he desperately hoped the male would say yes. His tongue ran out over his bottom lip nervously as he gazed at him, only for his blue eyes to widen at the response. The moment the word slipped out, Axel was moving, his hand cupping Michael's cheek and the other grasping his shirt lightly to pull him closer. Their lips met roughly, yet it melted into a gentler kiss as Axel felt his soft lips beneath his, hungry and desperate as his body radiated heat from excitement. His shoulders relaxed, leaning closer as he let out a deep sound of delight, their lips dancing and moving perfectly with one another.

  • //I have been! I usually set aside like an hour a day just to study because AP finals are absolute hell and these aren't even the final finals these are just end if quarter finals and uGh

Michael's eyes almost immediately slid shut, they had the moment he'd felt Axel's hand. He leaned his head up, shifting to use Axel's good shoulder to pull himself up a bit more, one hand resting on the man's jaw, the other shifting to tangle in his hair. This all felt so right, Michael knew he was going to be crushingly disappointed the moment Axel pulled away. He melted into the other male's lips, letting out a low, contented hum as they continued their shared action. Axel's lips were rough in movement but soft in texture, it was absolutely perfect. He was purely blissful, not dating to break away at all.

  • OOC: Yeesh, AP finals sounds awful. Good luck!

Axel felt his heart flutter and fingers curl tighter in Michael's shirt as he felt the other male melt into the kiss as well, feeling his fingers tangling in his short hair but he loved it. The hum made his skin crawl with delight, goosebumps rippling over his skin as he pulled Michael a little closer, just enough for their knees to slide in between each other. He didn't want to pull away from this kiss, rough and yet tender as his lips slightly parted, though his lungs were starting to burn. He let out a soft whine as he pulled away, panting softly as his soft blue eyes opened slowly, awe and amazement glimmering in them. "That.. " He trailed off, speechless and breathless and wanting more.

  • thank you!

Michael kissed him for quite a while after, almost giving a disappointed whine as he pulled away. His lungs were burning, eyes shut tight. his hand remained tangled in Axel's hair, resting there calmly as he struggled to catch his breath. His hand had shifted, and his thumb now rested delicately on the man's lower lip, listening as he spoke. "Perfect," He mumbled, finishing the sentence. "It was perfect." He furrowed his brows forward before he was leaning in again, connecting their lips, much more slowly and delicately this time, with more purpose. He kissed him again for a long moment, unable to feel anything except a deep happiness and feeling of belonging. He belonged with this man.
