"Before you ask, I was with Charlotte. We were in sight of the others, so it wasn't us." Kid says, a brief look of confusion on his face. It was clear he was in deep in thought as he stared at... Nothing.
(sorry for the short post)
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]truth bullet added - kid's testimony
(can i do that?? who knows)
daichi didn't want to check wounds on kouta's body. that was gross. and just seemed rude. " sh-should we, um--" he began tugging on his collar, sweating a little. " um, uh, check... kouta's room?" he seemed a lot more skittish than usual. " there can only be so much evidence in the kitchen."
[/fancypost]
"No... This looks like a killing of luck. Or... Unlucky in this case. I doubt we would find anything." Kid says simply, thinking as he tried to fix his own puzzle of evidence. It looked like this wasn't intended for anyone specifically, wrong place wrong time. "Nothing is stopping you though."
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]" i mean, uh, well," daichi fumbled over his words. " it wouldn't hurt to try, right?" he asked. " i'll go check it out. if, i, uh, find anything, um, interesting--" he took a shaky breath. " i'll let you know."
[/fancypost]
(Yeah, you guys can add truth bullets too. It'll make things easier in case I'm not on.)
"I can come with, if it'll help." Yori offered, his smile just a bit too forced for that situation.
"Um, also, some of you should make sure everyone knows about...the murder. I know it's not an appealing thought, but whatever this 'Class Trial' is, we aren't gonna make it through if we don't have everyone filled in on what's happening.
(Yori's referring to Junko and bluebree's characters in particular, who haven't heard the murder yet. We can't have a proper investigation if some of us are like 'wait someone died?!')
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]" uh, right, yori," daichi mumbled. " let's go," he said, and walked off to kouta's room. he stood for a few moments, looking at the door before he slowly, unsurely opened it.
[/fancypost]
Yori was expecting some messed up scene like that out of a horror movie, not an almost perfectly clean room.
Everything seemed to be tidy, aside from a jacket resting haphazardly on Kouta'd bed. Yori assumed it was his and motioned for Daichi to follow him inside. He was visibly curious, albeit nervous.
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]daichi walked in, frowning. " uh, there doesn't look like there's anything," the lucky student said, walking over to the center of the room. he gazed down on the jacket, he picked it up. " this... must be kouta's, right?" he asked, turning around yori.
[/fancypost]
"Seems so," Yori says, a hint of disappointment to his voice. But as luck would have it, a small piece of paper fluttered out of the jacket as Daichi picked it up.
"Huh?" He picked it up and looked it over. It read:
"meet me in the kitchen at 23:00 tonight, need to talk to you
".
"Well, that's...ominous..." Yori felt a chill run down his spine as he handed to note to Daichi so he could read it. "Aha, I guess that's the power of the Ultimate Lucky Student, huh? Just when we thought there was no point in coming here....I wonder what that note implies though."
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]daichi smiled sheepishly. " gl-glad i could be of use," he chuckled. he took the note, reading it over. " yeah, it, uh, really is," he said quietly, scratching his neck as he read it over again. " wait, doesn't that mean that only one person could've written this?" the lucky student inquired.

Tsukiko wandered out into the hallway. There was an eerie silence in the hallway. "What happened?" She wondered aloud, "Did someone die or something?"
How right she was.
(Poor, poor Tsukiko. If she only knew..)
"Yeah, but who? The handwriting's pretty ambiguous." Yori scratched his chin in thought. "Well, we can put that aside for now. We should probably head back to the kitchen, if there's nothing else."
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]" i guess... this, uh, might be one of the best bits of evidence we've got so far," daichi scratched his cheek with his index finger in thought. " right, back to the kitchen, then."
[/fancypost]
Tsukiko walked to the kitchen. She was hungry. The last time she hand food...too long ago. (Last night)
(Wait for it...wait for it...)
"Yeah, this could make or break this case." For whatever reason, Yori felt as energetic as ever, despite his movements being sluggish and his mind racing with anxiety. He treaded carefully to the kitchen, too lost in his own thoughts to notice Tsukiko making her way towards the kitchen as well.
Tsukiko saw Yori and she felt herself smile, "Oh! YORI! Hello~! I seemed to oversleep!"
(Someone's happy to see him~.)
"O-oh, um, hello, Tsukiko..." Yori stuttered.
This had to be the worst possible time he could interact with Tsukiko ever, and no, it's not a romantic-related reason this time.
"H-how are you?" He muttered and then sighed to himself. Real smooth, Yori. Super subtle.
He cast a nervous look at Daichi, begging him for help.
[fancypost bgcolor=#; border: 0px; width: 250px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; text-transform: lowercase]daichi glanced over to yori, and looked just as unsure of the situation as the ultimate matchmaker was. he began to realize the severity of the situation, and immediately broke out in a cold sweat. " ...hey, tsukiko," he said in a soft, tired voice.
[/fancypost]
Tsukiko's eyes narrowed, "Let me guess...you...like someone else." Her face fell. Who would be so nervous around her? She looked up at Daichi, "Hey Daichi!"
