After what seemed like hours passed, though it had probably only been a couple minutes, she smiled slightly, despite the slight... upset attitude she felt. "That's... just in the past, right?"     I eventually broke the silence, deciding to bring something up.
    "You nearly gave me a heart attack when I didn't see you in the afternoon. I thought you had died or something along those lines and nobody was going to tell me." I said, laughing as I glanced around at the other Gladers. I caught a few staring. There was a weird vibe coming off of everyone in the Glade. I almost felt uncomfortable, like I was daring to crack a smile. I couldn't help but think about what everybody in the Glade thought about the whole me-stinging-myself thing. In the deepest part of my mind, I was asking myself what Gally thought of it. I know it was a weird thing to think of, but I did care about his judgement. Somewhat, at least. I still felt slightly guilty for not telling anybody else about the note in my pocket. I probably should've told Newt, or Aya, or even Chuck.
