Clair knew what had to be done and Donavin wasn't going to like it. Clair picked Leah up and started to carry her into the woods"Do you know where your dad would be right now"She asked trying to sniff out the hunters herself. With her vampire speed she was well away from the house
Donavin had returned with a bag full of medication and found the front door ajar. He was in a panic now, he rushed up to Leahs room and found it empty. He couldn't find Clair either. If they were together he couldn't track them because of Clair's pharamones were special and they masked any scent around her
And he thought the hunters took them

Clair nodded towards the leader"The vampire was trying to make me strong before he turned me so that I would be unstoppable"she lied easily. She saw them injecting the syrum into Leah and knew it was going yo hurt her daddy. She didn't move though because she knew that her dad would be able to tell where the bond was broken and would be coming soon.
As Donavin was frantically searching the house he collapsed to the ground in pain and he knew what had happened. When the pain subsided he stood on his two feet his face a mask of indeference. He knew where the hunters were and he would kill every last one of them for hurting him once more. He let our a monstrous roar letting out his inner beast getting dangerously close to the line of being feral. He uses his unworldly speed to just appear in the middle of the room that had Leah and his child there. His face twisted into an unholy form only owned by an old vampire

Clair shook in fear. Her dad wasn't in his right mind and what he had in store for the hunters not even they deserved it. She grabbed the leaders arm in an iron like grip"I would stay where you are. What is coming now isn't the same creature that took your daughter. If my father finds you..... Let's just say you will wish he hadn't"as she finished one of the hunters ran into the room with fear in his eyes"Sir! There is something coming we believe that it is the vampire but, he is tearing through us like a monster!"
Donavin had found the compound and was immediately set upon by the hunters which he tore through without a thought. He was also testing the air trying to find the area where the smell of anything stopped. That's where he needed to be. Then he found it. He saw his daughter holding the leader by the arm another hunter and past them was Leah, dumped on the floor and writhing in pain. He couldn't help but growl from the shadows.
As Clair heard the growl her eyes widened in fear and her fangs showed themselves in defense as she whispered"There might not be hope for any of us."

Clair couldn't move which meant neither could the leader of the coven
Donavin walked out if the shadows covered in half of the guild's blood he stalked menacingly towards the leader but once he heard Leah his attention turned towards her. But he didn't see Leah he saw a meal. As he approached her fangs bared Clair ran and threw her arms around his neck"Daddy no"she screamed as she buried her face in his neck and bit him. He stopped in his tracks and froze as Clair's venam entered his system and slowly brought him back to sanity. Clair pulled away from him as he fell to his knees. She then moved over to Leah and sank her fangs into her letting her venom heal Leah as well

Clair stood in front of Leah acting as a guard if anyone tried to attack her
Once Donavin was fully sane he stood and looked towards Leah's dad"So, can you tell me why you did something like that to your daughter? To your own flesh and blood? Did you not learn from my example in your own history? How I almost brought the hunters guild to its knees for my deceased loved one? How you couldn't have tried doing something like that is just pitiful. And what was it I heard about you being able to beat me? You? A mere human? Against me? An elder vampire? You are obviously over confident in your abilities"he said stalking the leader

He rushed forward and disarmed the hunter of everything he had then had him pressed to the wall by his throat"What's the really reason you are such a bitter little old man, hm? I see it in your eyes, the same thing I saw in my eyes every night of my vengeance. Tell me or I can find out myself one way or another."
Clair sat beside Leah and put her arm around her"Wish I had some popcorn"she said

He cocked his head to the side, the current earl of Tully was a female with a back story similar to that"Seems truthful. So I'm going to reward you with a punishment. Suffering"he said throwing the human against the wall knocking him out. He then walked over to Leah and picked her up and began to carry her home with Clair holding onto his shirt"So Leah what was your mother's name? Because I have a hunch."

"Its not a hunch. You just confirmed it. Your mother is the new Earl of Tully. Well not new but you get what I mean"he said as he approached the house
"You mean Auntie Anna is Leah's mom"asked Clair scratching her head in confusion
Donavin shook his head"Annabella isn't my brood mate. She isn't your real aunt"he said chuckeling

He shrugged"Because I didn't know you were her mother until now. You know how shock is and all that. Besides at least I didn't tell her about our fling a couple of years ago did I"he asked with indifference. He walked into the house as Clair darted past into the library to find her favorite book. "Let me show you to her room Annabella, but she has been through a lot. And has seen me close to being feral."

He was about to go into the room to try his hand but still felt kind of guilty for loosing himself trying to find her and almost killing her. So he decided to sit beside Annabella"You know you could have asked me to help you if you had tried taking her with you after all. I'm older than every member in your coven"he said as he kept looking towards Leah's door again
