"Brothers huh? Seems like you have a more enhanced ability than Clair. Impressive. So, are you sure its two boys," he asked in a whisper trying to act like it was a secret.
Skylar yawned and snuggled into her mother slowly becoming more drowsy as Leah ran a hand through her hair.
Nate nodded "Anox and Leo"He said while a hand was on the sleeping Janessas stomach. "Do I? I just hear them..I thought everyone could"He shrugged as he whispered back.
Leah looked over at them "Im gonna put her to bed, Nates all yours"She smiled and kissed Nates head before kissing Dons cheek. She went up to the nursery and set Skylar down before starting to sing a lullaby.
"Whoa buddy, I'm happy that you know that you are having brothers. But the naming part falls to me and Janessa. I'll tell you her suggestions though," Don said looking to Janessa and moving a strand of hair out of her face.
Skylar curled up under her blankets listening to her mother's soothing voice, slowly drifting off into sleep
"I didnt name them"he grinned before yawning "They named themselves dad i swear."
Janessa moved at his touch and slowly woke up. "Oh..i must of doozed off. What did i miss?"she asked before yawning.
Donavin smiled and kissed her forehead,"You haven't missed much. Nate just developed an advanced version of Clair's power to sense children in the womb. Now we won't need an ultrasound," he said simply sitting next to Janessa on the couch.
Janessa looked at Don then at Nate very surprised "What...Im only four months how could.."She bit her lip "What am I having?"She asked and Nate smiled "Brothers"He put hid hand on her bump "They like your voice auntie. You and Dad make the twins happy"
Janessa started tearing up happily "oh"
Don held Janessa to his side "Are you happy? Because if you aren't then you need to be," he said and kissed her cheek. In all honesty he would be reacting the same as Janessa but he needed to seem strong for the family
Janessa shook her head "Of course im hapoy. Who wouldnt be?"She smiled and wiped her face "Its..its bedtime Nate..lets go"She got up slowly and Nate walked upstairs smugly.
He went to his room and laid in the bed (coffin) and waited for Janessa. When she arrived he smiled at her "And in one pregnancy you have caught up in the race. Not bad. Just wish I knew you were this fertile before hand," he said with a smile as he made room in the coffin for Janessa
Janessa frowned a little "How come?"she asked when he talked about her fertility. She slowly got in and rubbed her bump before snuggling into him.
"So that I could have gotten you pregnant before I was turned. And kept you with me," he said as he kissed her. "You know, Leah asked me something earlier," he said
Janessa chuckled and kissed back gently while looking up at him. "Oh what was that?"she asked as she played with his fingers.
"Well first, she asked me if she could have another mate. Then asked me who I wanted to marry out of you three girls<" he said then paused. What he was about to say would be kind of big. "And marrying you keep popping into my mind more often than not. Just looking at you makes me remember all the times in the past when you've made me so happy."
Janessa froze slightly "Oh...marriage. Me.? Is this you asking me?.."she stuttered. First the twins now this. It was a massive shock. But a happy one "I...uh are you? "
"I....I guess I am. I truly want to be with you, and this would have happened sooner if you hadn't needed to protect me when i was turned," he said getting nervous all of a sudden. "I'll have to get a ring later though."
Janessas face went bright red and she teared up slightly "Well you already know what my awnser is. You seeded me know I have to marry you"She joked as she yawned. "How do you feel about Leah getting another mate? Will they be male?"
"Seeded? You make it sound like you are a garden," he said with a chuckle and kissed her gently," If you are then you are a beautiful garden." He took a deep breath to prepare to speak about Leah," Yes, her new mate will be a male....and a werewolf," he finished, suppressing a growl. "Although I have noticed that Leah and I have been drawing apart, and if it wasn't for our children I don't think we would be together anymore. So I think it would be good for another to get a chance to succeed in loving Leah where I had failed."
Janessa blushed alitle, she played with his fingers and sighed. "Even I dont hate that species..Look, if you two were really drawing apart do you think she would of slept with you today? Or clair? The way I see it, she finally knows who she is as a vampire. And Im not going to judge her for being an assasin. Shes a good mother, i hope to learn from her. But thats my opinion"
Donavin paused for a moment. "She told you she was an assassin," he asked. He had only found out recently
Janessa shook her head "Well, I noticed she kept sneaking out. I followed her once..Saw it all. She told me about her past. I think she liked me more from that point"she yawned.
